Hey girl how's it going post op?

hey im new this site and wanted to get some help and advice from some people. i live in tennesse near nashville.im a 24 yr female in hope of getting banded soon.. i am currently schedule for surgery 9-20 with a dr in mexico..dr alberto aceves.. i wanted a doc here in tennesse but the out of pocket was 18,000 where in mexico its 7,000 and my job will not cover for the surgery. so i need some inspiration and a pick me up along my journey.. im looking for band buddies to talk and share new ideas and helpful tips with.. talk 2 u soon..

i live in toronto, canada..maybe i will say in awhile..maybe a year from now..when i was getting gastric in 2001 my mother was ready to disown me if i went through with it....so im going to keep it to myself and as im losing i might feel more comfortable.

let us know how you do. My sister had the gastric bypass a year ago and she has lost over 100 lbs. She looks great. She didn't tell us about it until 5 months after she had it. (she lives in another state). I went to a seminar a few weeks ago. I want to have it too.
