Hey Laura, thank you so much for what you said. I always was under the impression that they had to document it as well but when I actually went in for surgery I asked the surgeon what size and he said "Oh they're all the same, but really the bigger one" which is annoying because I knew there are like 5 different types of band. Then on wednesday my nurse said it was more than likely the johnson & johnson brand so I'm not sure exactly which one is the biggest with that but whichever it is I'm guessing that's the one I have. As for paying for my fills, I'm so tempted to do it, but I don't know of any other doctors so it's frustrating. I know a lady at my job network that has the band so I might have to ask her if she can give me her surgeons card. =) Thanks again. Next time I go in I think I might ask to read my chart. It's not like they can say no because it's about me and I have a right to know
