I'm at the beginning stages and still figuring things out. I just got a call back from a local office that said that my insurance doesn't cover the band, so I'm thinking of going self-pay. I have family in Venezuela and have started looking for surgeons there, since it will probably be the least expensive method with the same results. I'm SO excited to think that I could finally be rid of the weight. I am willing to do whatever it takes, just as long as the weight stays off. I'm tired of feeling tired!!! lol. How has your experience been? How long has the journey taken? I'm so ready, I wish I could do this thing tomorrow, but I know I need to be patient. Keep me posted on your recovery and how things are.
