I k now where you are coming from ! Before my surgery I was a 5x and a size 30 jean. Now I can wear a XL top and a 16/18 jeans. So excited, never thought I would see this, down 228 pounds in 3 years. Feel great and get around so much better. Would like to 15 more but if I do I do and if I don't that is okay too ! Love the new me. ♥

I had seen a recipe using key lime yogurt, key lime sf jello and sf cool whip, then a graham cracker crust on the lap band post. Anyone know what it is? I cant find it now !!!!:confused:

Does anyone ever feel like some days you can hardly eat anything and then other days you can eat much more? I have been feeling very restricted and since lunch time today I feel like I can eat anything. I am scared that something happened to my band. Anyone else ever have this?

:thumbup: I was so up last week for the hitting the one hundred pound mark, but I have not lost anything since then. I do excercise, ride the excercise bike around 7 miles each day, walk when I can, and I am not eating any differently, but thet scales will not move :redface: I hope that things start moving again soon. My surgery was last April 9th and I want to hit below 300 by the 1 year anniversay, I still have 4 pounds to go and those scales will not cooperate. Any advice ???? :confused::confused:

Congrats. I hit the 100 pound loss last Thursday and know exactly how you feel !!! Keep up the good work:thumbup:

Congrats, I have four more pounds to go to hit under the 300 mark, but I did hit the 100 pound loss this past thursday. I was so excited, now cant wait to this next milestone, which I am hoping will be in the next 10 days. I know how you feel, it is great !!!

:cursing: I am so happy. The scales finally hit 100 lbs this morning. My day will be great !!!! I am so happy that I made the decision to have the lap band, but I do have one regret, I did not have it sooner .... Now if I could figure out how to do my ticker...

I m so glad to hear this, that I m not the only one feeling this way. I am so mad at myself that i can hardly stand it. I have gained a few pounds, have not been exercising and just feel blah. So mad at myself. What has anyone else done when they went through this. It is too cold to do anything outside, i just feel like shit.

When I had my surgery in April 09 I asked the nurses at the hospital about using a heating pad and they said definately no - due to the blood thinner it could cause bleeding. I did not use one. :smile:

I was banded in April and I was doing really well, going to curves, really watching, etc... Lately I have been doing so much overtime at work and I have just been putting everything on the back burner. I have not gained any of my weight back but I have not beed losning any more either. I am so disgusted with myself I could kick my ass.:smile: I am going to get in the groove again, but was wondering, how many others have fallen off the wagon this soon? Am i a failure? :tt1: I am discouraged. Any suggestions?????:thumbup:

I was wondering how many of you eat salads and do not have any problems? I am so hungy for one and had my surgery in April. Do you think that it is safe?

I am so glad to hear that others are like this. I know that if I eat I will hurt but yet the bottom part of my stomach still feels hungry. I did not know if this is what they call head hunger or what, however I am glad that others feel the same way.

how much of a fill do you guys have in your bands and what size bands do you have?

Congrats. I do not know how long this will last and I do not go back for 6 weeks to the dr but I hope this will help me get started losing again.

I went for my second fill on the 10th and I now have 6cc in a 14 band. I have lost 6 1/2 pounds since wednesday. I hope this lasts as my first fill I had no restriction at all. Am loving it.:thumbup::bored:

My doctor did not make me go liquids or anything special after my first fill. I will have a second on wednesday. Does everyone else have special diet for a day or two or are others allowed to eat regular food also?????:grouphug:

I had my first fill on wednesday.Did not know what to expect but it went off without a hitch. Really surprised me. The doctor gave me 3cc and said that he thinks that i have a 14 band, but he did not have his computer in the room with him so he was not sure. He said that i should fill some restriction now and I think that i do. for lunch that day he said that i could have anything did not need to be on liquids. I stopped at MCDonalds on my way to work and had 4 nuggets and a parfait and felt stuffed. Yesterday ate less than before and today for lunch i was eating chicken and must not have chewed well enough and oh my god, it must have gotten stuck and I was in horrible pain until it came back up and then i felt fine. I go back in 3 weeks for another fill and I hope this stays with me, and does not go away after a few days I hope that it is just not swelling and then i will feel nothing again. I hope that my next fill really helps too. Do you guys think it will stay or go away???

I go for my first fill this morning and I really hope that in a few days I will fill some restriction as of now I have none. Am really anxious to see how this goes today. Don't really know what to expect. Let you all know.

I will get my first fill on wednesday, the 20th. I am not sure what size my band is and I am not sure if that makes a difference, but what is the most has anyone has been filled the first time, and do you get much restriction????

thanks i want mine to be as aggressive as possible as right now i am really not losing and i cannot wait for my first fill, as i think that will be a great help.

I had my surgery on a Thursday and went back to work on the following tuesday. My port site hurt a little but no big deal. I too have a sitting job.
