I can't get this last 12 lbs off!!! Grrrrr!!!

Thanks for the comment about my picture. I was not self pay. My insurance paid, so obviously I was 100 lbs over weight. I tried the sit ups, they didn't work.... LOL

I was banded July 28th. I had my first fill Sept. 9th and am getting another one on the 23rd. Bring on the restriction... Please. I know it is seeming to go a little slow for me too but I have picked up on the exercise and am measuring my food so hopefully after this next fill the poundage will fall right off... LOL

Hello, I noticed we had our surgeries on the same day. I got my first fill last week but still has no restriction. I am going back next week for another. Oh I also had a hiatal hernia repair. Well just thought I would say hello... Jennifer

Hello, Well I had my first fill yesterday. It was totally painless. The area around where my port is is still numb. He said I could get another fill in 2 weeks if I need one. When do you go for your first fill? I am actually seeing the result. Barely but they are noticable...LOL Well just wanted to see how things were.

I was just wondering what kind of puppy do you have in your signature? She/He looks like a Japanese Chin. I have a female named KiKi. I have a pic of her in my photos. Anyway, just thought I would ask.... Jennifer

I can't believe how well I am doing. It was simple. The only pain I am having is the sholder pain from the gas but it isn't at all like other have said iy was. It is mostly after I eat... I am still on puree so I am not sure how it will be after I get to regular food. I am so glad I did this and I hope you will feel the same way!!

My mother in law is Sue Williams... It has been about 7 years ago or so. She used to work with them at Gilster. I used to work at Gilster with Margie Hicky before she same to START. I am not sure if she still works there or not.

I am doing good. The 28th can't get here fast enough.LOL The 24th is my birthday... I only have to be on a low carb diet so hopefully my birthday won't be to miserable.. I am really excited now but I think the closer my my surgery date gets here I will start to get nervous. I vowed to myself I would not get scared... I don't want my kids to start to get scared either. I have prayed that this is the right decision for me and I just know it is. Do you have to stay over night? I do, just 1. Anyway, TTYL

Hello. I notice that you have lost almost 40 lbs.. That is great. My surgery is scheduled for July 28th. I am so excited and it couldn't get here any faster. I was wondering what kind of a pre-op diet does he have us on. I know it will be low carb but how many carbs is low carb. My pre-op appointment is July 15th. Thats when I start it but I was kind of wanting to start it now....

My PCM sent a referrel to see a surgeon on Apr. 6th. It was approved the next day. The surgeon sent my approval for the surgery in on June 8th and it was approved on the 11th. I probably could have had my surgery date sooner but I had to switchs surgeon because the first one wanted me to pay out of pocket. Tricare said I wasn't supposed to pay anything out of pocket...

Congrats!!! i hope the pain doesn't get to bad. I am so excited to get my surgery over and done with!!! I am happy for you and hope the recovery goes really smooth!!! Congrats again, Jennifer

I don't think Tricare(west) will deny your referrel from the PCM. Your PCM should know what to say to get it approved. He will tell them you are overweight by the 100 lbs and that you have hypertention. I am 5'4' 239 lbs with hypertention and I got approved. My surgery is scheduled for July 28th!!!!!!! Jennifer

I am ok I am patiently wait for July 28th to get here. Well maybe not patiently. LOL I finally told my boss, cause I needed to take time off work. I actualy told her I wanted no one to know. She kind of snickered and told me that 2 years ago she had GB, and that she promises to tell no one. This hole time I was affraid to tell her cause I know how things get spread around at a job. My husband took off 2 weeks of work as well. I don't think it will take me 2 weeks to heal but my hubby needs time off work as well..LOL Thanks for asking.. how have you been?

Mine and my husbands whole family lives in Illinois. Before we came here we were in NC. It wasn't so bad cause if we really wanted to drive home we could. Not so much here, but it is beautiful. Except the fact now that it is summer the sun never sets, thank goodness for black curtains.. Jennifer God Bless you and yours too!!!

oh thats cool. My brother and his wife are there along with my cousin and his wife. My husband and I just came from Fort Bragg, NC. We will be up here for the next 2 1/2 years but plan to go to Campbell after this
