hello, i just wanted to know if any body out there has ever had a hernia repair at the same time while getting banned i have a ventral hernia i want to know if it will make recovery longer.pain worse i need some answers.

i had my gallbladder taken out last sept it wasnt bad at all. they did it the new way with three holes. recovery was quick i hurt for two days it will be fine for you.

:sad:i got approved for surgery today. an hour later the doc office called and told me that the doc had to see if the lapband was right for me because of the dumping syndrome that i have. she doent know if the lapband is right for me. i dont under stand i have been having alot of gi problems. has anybody else have that problem. they told me that they go to the meeting first week of july so i have to wait it out. i was so happy about my aprovel now i dont know whats gonna happen. im concerned. help:cursing:

no i must mess understood them im gonna call in the morning. i just have bad gi problems. acid reflux dieses but that woulnd stop that would it. maybe they concern that the band woulnd not work right.

hello there i just finish my 6 months diet. just got aproved today. but doc called and told me that i will have to wait until she finds out if lapband is right for me . i have been haveing gi problems. i dont know what the problem could be ,i was so close to geting my band now i have to wait allittle longer. they told me that they will have a meeting first week of july. hope all goes well.

just would love to hear about your pain how you feel after surgery some people are in alot of pain more then others would love to here about this so will know what to expect.

thank you all now i kind now what to look for .im kind of scared because i do have a hiatel hernia does any one know how that surgery feels or you cant tell cause you are already sore. has any one had both surgery at same time?
