    New to the forum

    Hi macmadame, up until 2 weeks ago i was losing the 2 lbs a week and not feeling hungry. So dr kwon's nurse suggested going on Protein Shakes only for a few days to jump start my system again. I have picked up the pace as far as exercising. I am wondering if it is muscle that is the weight gain?? How long have you had your band.? Almost 90 lbs!! That's great, good for you. I go back to the dr. Next week. I'll see what happens. Thanks for answering.
  4. HI EARLY, I WAS BANDED IN JAN-09. LIKE YOU I LOVE chocolate, ESPECIALLY CAKE! BUT I HAVE FOUND A Protein DRINK (MUSCLE MILK) THAT IS SOOO GOOD, I HAVE ONE OF THESE FOR Breakfast AND I'M GOOD TO GO. YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL THOUGH BECAUSE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES. YOU WANT THE LOW CALORIE/FAT ONE. I'M NOT SURE IF YOU CAN GET IT IN THE UK THOUGH. BUT ONLINE?? I REALLY HAVE NO DESIRE FOR SWEETS SINCE THE BANDING. I USE SPLENDA IN MY coffee WHEN I HAVE SOME BUT THAT'S IT. I HAVE LOST 52 LBS PRE/POST SURGERY DIET AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE (NEXT TO MARRYING MY HUSBAND lol). I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON. GOOD LUCK!!!!
  5. Hi chirocw, i'm new to the forum but have had my band since january. I find that i am more into spicy/tastier foods since my banding. I still like old foods but i seem to crave more flavors in them. What foods are you drawn to now?. The really odd thing for me is, i am cooking up a storm now. I am hooked on the food network and am trying all kinds of recipes i would never have before. (as long as they meet the criteria). Maybe this is a passing phase for you. Good luck to you. Hopefully you'll level back out.
  6. I HAD MY SURGERY ON JANUARY 7, 2009. ALL TOTAL, PRE DIET AND POST OP) I HAVE LOST 52 LBS SINCE 11/6/08. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY FILLS YET AS I DO NOT FEEL HUNGRY. RIGHT NOW I SEEM TO BE ON A PLATEAU. I CAN'T SEEM TO LOSE ANY WEIGHT NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I AM TRYING JUST shakes FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM? ANY TIPS? THANKS!!:sneaky:
