I travel a little over an hour to see my doctor. I have an appt. on the 8th for my fourth fill. I havnt lost much weight and I am getting frustrated. I was in the chat room and someone said (I forget who) that the first few months are the time when you are supposed to lose most of the weight ...to call the doctor. So I did. He said he will check things out when I come in. I think I have restriction (hence the puking on chicken) but the weight isnt coming off..I am at the same weight for about two months now. Maybe the fourth fill will do it but I dont know. Keep posting on progress!!!!

LOL. Maybe a screwdriver or knife. Never a wrench. Possibly a protein shake...dont like tapioca. Slippers??? Well.... probably not enough room. Now how would you possibly get away with not carrying a cell phone? Do people yell at you all the time because they cant reach you???

Yup. I carry everything in my bag. It weighs a ton. And I really dont know why. I have never been happy with a small bag! But I think if you can do it...its great. I bet you can actually FIND your cell phone when it rings. Probably your keys too!!! Every single day its either cell phone or keys that fall into the bottomless pit that is my purse.

Are you still drinking protein shakes? I am really confused as to whether we are supposed to still be drinking those or not

I cant eat chicken at all. Its weird because I havnt really had a problem with much else except chicken. I get so sick on chicken. I dont know why.

I am glad to hear that. I am on my third and still not really losing. I get my fourth fill in a little over a week and hoping this is the one. Were you losing before the fourth fill?

I hate sappy movies too. I dont like my feet so i do get a pedicure in the summer to make them look nicer. I have nice hands with short nails so i usually keep my nails short and cant stand not being able to do things with my hands when i have long nails like button or zipper or put earrings on or off..how does anyone do that???? Not a huge fan of coach bags...just dont find them pretty. Havnt worn hose is a million years and would HATE to have to dress up for work. I used to have to when I worked in the city. Now I get to go casual YAY. I never change my jewelry and wear the same pieces everyday for the most part. I love all the responses on this thread.

Sometimes buying a new lipstick is better than sex. Ok I havnt had sex in awhile. lol. I have locked myself out of the house/car too many times after changing purses so I NEVER do that anymore. Use the same one until I buy another one unless I am going out and then I may change my purse but usually not. I LOVE makeup. I dont consider myself a girlie girl at all even though I do wear makeup. I love the transformation aspect of it and I love the whole process of putting it on. I like dramatic eye make up. I remember buying my first lipstick. Does anyone remember Slickers?

That was fun to read. I am 5'7" too and even without heels I am ALWAYS taller than my dates. Cant wait to see a picture of your cfm shoes! What color would they be? I laughed about Ivory soap and SEABREEZE!!! I remember that stuff!!!! Ok seriously...I want a tiara.....

Chocolate I got banded in Dec of 08 and I am losing very slowly if and sometimes not at all. Any tips for me? How many fills did you have to get to the right amount? I know I am in the wrong forum for this question probably but oh well.

HI Chocolate! I relate to everything you said! Also have a potty mouth! Love my lipstick but not much of a dress wearing, shoe buying girl. Love strong females characters in real life as well as in books although I havnt had much time to read. I see you live in NY? I lived in NYC for much of my life and now in NJ!

Need a mentor. I had surgery beginning of Dec 09 and havent lost much weight. Its as bad as 1 to 2 pounds a month!!!!!
