  1. I was just wondering if anyone else gets really bad headaches when they work out? It seems that the more intense the workout the more pressure I have on my temples. I almost feels as if I'm detoxing from something because I begin to shake and I can't control it. It makes me so mad :beer_yum: because I can go for a lot longer if it wasn't that I have to stop because of my head. I've been to the doctor and I'm not diabetic, I don't have a thyroid problem and except for my weight (270) I am in good health. Any suggestions? Divis

    Massive Headache When I Workout

Thanks all I think it is that I don't eat before I work out. I just have Water and that's all but I need to start eating before as well. BTW, Jachut my blood pressure is ok.
  3. Thanks sooooooooooooooooo much for getting back to me. I've also been calling and doing some research and found out the same. It's just so much easier to hear that you went through them and are happy with everything. It puts my nerves at ease. Again thanks so much and I am happy to hear that you have been losing weight. Congratulations!!!

  4. Hi Erica,

I saw a posting you did in 11-22-08 about Dr. Omidi and the "Top Surgeons" group and let me tell you it's freaking me out!! I just went to them and did and endoscopy and started the whole process! I know that your posting was from along time ago and I know that their practice has grown since because they advertise from Beverly Hills to Las Vegas, but that doesn't change the fact that this doctor was on probation for being "grossly negligent"! I have no idea what to do now. I was looking forward to having surgery in August but now I dont know. Any suggestions?

    WantToBe

Hi walker933, I also have Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois and they are great, they are covering the whole thing. That is after I met their qualifications. They asked to provide 6 months of monitored weight (Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers or your Nutritionist). I do however think it varies from state to state. I had a friend who had Kaiser Permanente and she had to go to classes for 1 year and not miss any in order for her to qualify. Good Luck! :tongue_smilie: Divis
  6. Hello, I came across this site on google and was hoping to find other people who have had experience with lap-band surgery. I'm still in my beginning stages of the process and have a lot to learn. I'm starting to adjust both my eating habits and physical activity so that life after surgery will not be a total shock. But it seems to be a slow process to adjust all the bad habits I became accustomed to in my life time. I am ashamed to say I let myself get to 270 lbs. and I would like to rectify the problem before I cause myself some serious health problems. Any and all advise for a newbie is welcomed! Thanks, Divis
