HI, I am wondering how Lap Band has changed your life? I want and need to lose weight but sometimes its just easier being over weight. I think Lap Band would improve my life--especially love life .. I dont have high blood pressure or anything that I have to take meds for, I am just over weight and have no engery. I would love for people not to use as a weapon against me "your fat".. I have been in way to many relationships when things go bad that is there only thing they can say!! I am 5'6 33 years old 234 lbs want to lose 100 lbs..

HI, I was refered to www.bajanor.com I have looked at the web site several times, I just was wondering if anyone else had been to this one in Mexico..?? the prices seem less than others in Mexico.. I also was wondering which Lap Band to get they have (4).. the most expensive is the Lap Band Inamed.??? the others are Midband & Obtech.. I am with you, I have been down the diet roller coaster all to many times.. I have done weight watchers, slim fast, la weight loss center, richard simmons, low calories & atkins.. I even did Phen-Phen.. I lost the most weight on Phen- Phen and akins..but with both as soon as I stopped I gained the weight right back.. I lost 40lbs on atkins in 3 months and when I stopped I gained back 51 lbs.. I have tried to do atkins again since it worked so fast but now I cant lose a pound doing it.. I think my body has adjusted to it not sure.. I am considering this lap band surgery in Mexico-- I would go there for price reasons.. everyone keeps telling me its my body and I shouldnt do it by price! I understand everyones concern but I need help and I cant afford $16, 000 If I could that would be great but that will never be the case!. I am a single mom with a very good income--but I also have just bought a house and I have car payment and other bills. I am lucky and want to live life being happy and sometimes I guess I think about it like I will do it at any cost. I am a very happy go lucky person and right now im so depressed.. I cant seem to get into the grove to lose weight on my own again, often I talk myself into "im not that fat" I look ok.. well I know im fooling myself and although this would be for me and my health, I know my love life would sore!! Men suck lol.. I dont want a large man and the men I want dont want a large woman. I know if I lost the weight I would have so many more opportunitys and I wouldnt be so depressed. HI, Dawn. How was the whole experience? I live about 96 miles from Chicago and that would be the closet for me also. I just dont have insurance to cover this so I would be a self pay also. I keep trying to talk to my friends and family and everyone says NO WAY.. I want this surgery, I need this surgery I am afraid but I have seen many people on her that have had it done in Mexico.. I have a 6 year old daughter and she is my biggest concern. I wouldnt want anything to go wrong! but again I guess it could go wrong anywhere.. My other concern is the FIlls?? are you going to have them done in the states or will you go back into Mexico? Michele

Hello, I am 33 years old. 5'6 :faint: I currently weigh 229 lbs.. I never had a weight problem before, I had to lapo's for female stuff and then a child. Normal weight for me is around 140.. I have been looking into lap band.. I will be a self pay so I have been really considering Mexico-- I just dont have any support from family yet, they are so scared for me.. any tips or advise??

Does the $8500.00 inculde your airfare, Im asking becuase I was thinking of buying my own airfare.. I can fly to Las Vegas (My sister just moved there) and then from there her & I can drive to San Diego, CA and have them pick me up from there.. The total airfare would only be $204.00 and thats roundtrip. I realize Dr Sanchez is in Montery, MX which is over by TX I guess I could explore airfare there also. I would love to get the Phone's or web site. You have been very helpful. Are you scared or concerned? I have talked to several of my friends and family and they think I am crazy for wanting to do this in Mexico.. But since I have to pay for all on my own I need the losest cost. Do you know how fast people lose weight? I could lose 100lbs and be great-- even if I only lost 80 I would be happy! Thanks again.

Hello Everyone, I am considering Lap Band I want to have it done in Mexico but just like others I have concerns.. I did find it for $8500.00 but that does not inculde airfare , which is fine airfare is not $1000.00 which is what they would charge if you used the airfare package.. anyway I was wondering if anyone had heard of Dr. Ortiz he offers the surgery in Tijuana & cancun.
