Ok, this is what I started doing since I have to be on liquids till Sunday morning...I get my chocolate whey, a spoon full of benifiber (the non taste disolving powder), 1 spoon of peanut butter and skim milk and throw it all into a blender...OMG this stuff is wonderful and adds a little more protein to my diet with the peanut butter and helps me out in a little different way with the benefiber!!! So my count for today is: 2 glasses of chocolate whey 40 oz of green tea with Lemon & Honey(but the dr this morning said that counted as water) so far only 20 oz of water dinner prediction...hhmmmmm...1 more glass of chocolate whey

Yep Josette, thats in my 4 cc band...He said that it was closed to about the size of a pencil lead now...I had no problem getting down the barium or water afterwards, I just hope that I can say the same tomorrow...I am hoping that this will be the magic fill for me and take me a long way...But you never know, I might end up like you and have to be there Monday morning for an unfill but I hope not!! As for now I have that swelling feeling in the back of my throat but I am hoping it goes away by morning

I just got back from getting my fourth fill...I am now at 2.75 cc...The Dr said that I couldnt get another fill until after I had lost another 30-40 lbs due to me being so tight now...So I am on liquids till Sunday morning and will check back in then when I am able to eat some solids...But I will be working out, drinking lots of fluids and thinking of all you great people on here until I get back

Ok, I just got back from getting my fourth fill...I am filled to 2.75 now...The dr said that I could not get another fill until after I had lost about another 30-40 lbs...Said that he had me as tight as I could go right now and that the opening was only about the size of a pencil lead...I asked about the green tea and if it could be counted as water intake and he said for sure that anything this is water based can count as water...I asked him if I was in the slow range for my weight loss right now and he said that I was actually right above normal...Said that normal for right now is about 45 and I am at 52...So I guess that I wont be going to see the dr for quite a long while...Another 30-40 lbs would put me about 80-90 lbs for a loss so that would be great...He said that my pouch was looking great and to not worry about my calorie intake as long as it stayed under 1000 a day...Said the more that I put into my body that the more that I had to work to burn it off...Also said that the "starvation mode" was a myth and to not worry about it...So, this was a different dr that I saw today and he had different things to say than my regular dr...I guess I can go ahead and try his ideas and see how they treat me...

Keep up the great work and great attitude Time for my check in for today Chocolate whey drink (breakfast) 1 cup cucumber salad and 4 ounces of cottage cheese (lunch) 1 tbsp peanut butter (snack) 2 small fish fillets and 3 pieces of popcorn shrip, small salad on the side (dinner) 52 ounces water 20 ounces green tea with honey & lemon I heard someone mention the cucumber salad the other day and it just sounded so good so I had to try it for lunch today and it was great. I am still coming in under my 1000 calories each day but trying to add a couple good ones to even it out...I am ashamed to admit it but this morning I had .5 lbs gain...I hang my head in shame...But I go in in the morning bright and early for my fill and we will see what it does for me 1.5 miles (about 32 minutes) on my gazelle...Im working it SGT!!!!

My check in for today: chocolate protein drink (breakfast) 2 tbsp peanut butter (snack) 1 cup salad, 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 1/4 cup shredded bbq briskett, 6 ounces non sweetened grapefruit juice (lunch) 45 ounces water 40 ounces green tea with honey & lemon 2 ounces chicken breast strips, 1 cup salad, 2 tbsp ranch dressing (dinner planned) 1.5 miles in 35 minutes on my gazelle

Thank you SGT!!! I will fall back in line now and be have!!! I have been doing my workout 6 days a week with only sunday off...And I am scheduled for another fill on friday and hopefully it will help me along this broken road of mine

My final count for today 1 cup shredded wheat with skim milk (breakfast) 60 ounces of honey & lemon green tea(0 calories) i think this counts as water intake, will have to double check with the nurse on friday Just finished 1.5 miles on my gazelle in 32 minutes (sweating like a stuffed pig) 1/2 a chicken club salad from Jack in the Box with Ranch dressing (lunch) 2 slices of thin sliced sandwich turkey breast with a slice of cheddar cheese (snack) 16 ounces of red non sweetened grapefruit juice 1/4 cup shredded bbq briskett, medium size salad(dinner) Once I write all of this out it sure does seem like alot

I know I know, I just found out about this post this morning....Im trying to catch up...Everyone wait for me!!! Everyone is doing so great!! I wanted to update my stuff for today 1 cup shredded wheat with skim milk, 8 ounces non sweetened grapefruit juice (breakfast) 20 ounces of honey & lemon green tea Just finished 1.5 miles on my gazelle in 32 minutes (sweating like a stuffed pig) 20 more ounces of honey & lemon green tea Teresita, I am working on my intake...I just started on fitday.com and trying to keep better track of everything...This is my first week of working on this issue and I see that there is a problem and find myself at the end of the day being about 150-200 calories short on my intake...I love this post and am working hard at getting everything in order and trying to make it work for me!!! I feel like a scientist this week trying to figure out all my numbers and my workout times...My husband just sits back and laughs and rolls his eyes at me, but in the long run I will win this battle

Teresita, just got your message!!!! Im here and accounted for....No MIA for this chick....I am in it for the long haul and am probably the Gomer of the bunch!!! Lets see, Yesterday Chocolate Whey Protein Drink and 8 ounce non sweetened grapefruit juice (breakfast) 1 Cup Shredded Wheat Cereal and 8 ounce non sweetened grapefruit juice (lunch) 3 egg rolls and 8 ounce non sweetened grapefruit juice (dinner) 1 slice of cheese (snack) 30 minute workout on my gazelle (1.25 miles) 60 ounces of honey& lemon green tea (0 calories) And so far today 1 cup shredded wheat cereal in skim milk and 8 ounces of non sweetened grapefruit juice 20 ounces of honey & lemon green tea (0 calories) Didnt keep track yesterday of the water intake, but have been trying something new with the grapefruit juice and green tea..Will see how it pans out tomorrow on my weigh in

Today is my 4th day on the grapefruit juice diet...Just drinking 8 ounces of grapefruit juice 30 minutes before each meal...I cant really tell any difference in my weight at all from my scale...But of course the official weigh in will be on Wend when I get back to work...But as of right now drinking the grapefruit juice just adds extra calories to my diet that I dont really want to add...I did finally get my little computer thing working on my gazelle and found out that I have been going about 1.25 miles a day in my 30 minute workout 6 days a week which adds up to 7.5 miles a week...which I guess isnt that bad but I am glad to finally be able to add it all up and figure out what I am actually doing...I would like to get it up to about 10 miles a week if I can...I ought to be able to do that by just adding about 5-10 minutes a day here and there...Today I also found some lipton green tea with honey and lemon to go with 0 calories and added antioxidants...Anything to help me along will be good...By wend if I dont see a conderable difference from the week I may give up on the grapefruit juice cuz all it does is burn my tummy....We will see how it goes in the long run!!!

Good to hear from you too Pinkylee...I am just trying to get a general idea of what everyone else is doing...Everyone is doing so wonderful...I am thinking that I am also going to have to add a snack in between a meal or 2...I went into fitday like was mentioned and the count on there is alot different than when I just add them up myself during the day...I dont know what to go by, they have me confused...lol

Thanks again Barbara465...I will try these, I havent thought about logging anything into those sites but it will be helpful... Im not suprised to hear about your cold you and your family have going on...This weather is lousy...Im just a little ways from you in the Dallas area and I know that we are stocking up for the weekend weather alerts and dont plan on leaving the house after about noon today...Hope you get to feeling better

Thank you so much...I have been doing like you and just eating till full and making sure I eat the right thing..I had just been thinking in the last week about the counting calories thing thinking it might help me along (just something new to try) to see if it makes any difference...I might just go back to my regular ways

I was just wondering how many calories everyone is trying to get in each day...I have been trying to stick in between 1000-1200 but am having a hard time getting them all in thru the day and one of my surgeons rules was only 3 meals a day and no snacking...I was just wondering how everyone was able to accomplish this task...Any help would be appriciated

Well, today I didnt lose anything...I think that I went under my regular calorie count yesterday and messed up my bodys way of thought...So today I started counting my calories today to make sure that I got all of them in today...So far I am about 620 calories for today and still have dinner to go...I might end up having to have a little snack before dinner so that I can get a few extra calories...I just dont understand how my surgeon expects me to keep to about 1200 calories a day with just 3 small meals and no snacking...It just dont add up to me...Well, I have several girls at work on a diet now and they are doing a grapefruit diet along with a regular diet..So, its basically eating a grapefruit before each meal but if I were to do that I wouldnt be able to eat my meal...So they let me know that they had read that I could do the sugar free grapefruit juice or find some grapefruit pills to do before I ate my meals...So I will go out tomorrow and find me some sugar free grapefruit juice (if there is such a thing) and try it for several weeks and see how it does me...Something new to try and there is just telling if it will work or not but it never hurts to try

I finally did it!!! I finally passed my 50 lb mark that I have been having an issue with for the last month...I am now at 52 lbs...I am so excited!!

Yep, I remember that few weeks right after surgery of the emotional rollercoaster that my family probably wished that I would have fallen off of at every curve...Your body has just been thru alot and its going to take time to adjust to what you have done to it plus the stress that the anesthetic puts on you too..I agree, put it in your journal and you will look back and laugh at it later on

I am just sitting here counting down the days for the new season to start...I just got hooked on the Idol last season so I cant really say anything about the previous ones...But I just loved Chris, Kelly and Taylor last season...I could have done without the Catherine chick (just my opinion of course)...I just heard Kellys new song on the radio the other day and thought it was pretty good (Red High Heels)..And I also just heard that Bucky just signed a recording contract too (good for him)...I really enjoyed a couple of Buckys songs last season
