Ok, I think that since Valentines Day is coming up that we need to review what all we love about ourselves...As a great poster had me do once, make a list of all the things that we love or like about ourselves then make a list of the things that we dislike....We should notice that the things on the dislike list are really things that we ourselves can change...During the week we ought to work on changing these things into a positive...After all, if we dont love ourselves we will never be truely happy!! Plus of course keep up with the great water intake, food and workouts!!! Lets have good attitudes and learn to love ourselves all over again since we are all changing day by day!! Will that work sgt???? Thats all thats been on my mind lately

Avilla I’m glad you saw the doctor and at least you got somewhere to start with your son so he can control it with diet. Does your insurance company have a nutritionist in their network. Yes, I did find out that there were some in my network and I am working on it...I am also thinking about going ahead and coughing up the money for the one in the office with his specialist since they work so close together it might be better for him so they can get together about him if they have to...Its just the first appointment that is so much money after that its only 5 dollars over what his copay would have been anywhere else...And I even found out that they have a payment plan for that first visit so that will work too...I have been thinking about it since yesterday and I just want whats best for him, and at this point I am thinking its with the more expensive choice (dang it)...Thank you so much for asking

This past week has been good for me...The weight has started coming off .5-1 lb at a time...I am getting excited and hope that it dont stop again, knowing that it will of course...I guess that my body just needed a little break and now has kicked back into gear...Since my last fill I have only been able to eat 4-5 ounces of food at a time and I am trying to get everything in that I need...I guess my dr knew what he was talking about when he said to not worry about getting in 1000 calories a day and to stay under that as much as possible...Its working again and I couldnt be happier...I have been working out most days and drinking all my water and just in general feeling really well...Only problem that I have is that none of my clothes are fitting me anymore, but I am going to wait until I absolutely have to to buy anything new so that I dont have to spend so much to replace them when I outgrow them...I want to get the smallest size possible so that I would be able to wear them when I am at goal...Even at goal I will be wearing XL shirts so if I order 2X here before long I will still be able to wear them too later on cuz I like my shirts big anyways and around the house they will just be comfy...Cant wait till the day that I can say that I have lost 100 lbs total so far....Only about 42 or so more lbs and I will be able to say that..One of my goals is to be under 200 lbs by my 1 year bandversary...but that would mean another about 58 lbs before June...I dont think I can do that, but I am going to try my hardest...At even 1 lb a week thats only about 21 lbs...So I might actually have to do this 1.5 year goal thing if I have to...Just as long as its still working I will be fine with it

This is too funny and I just wanted to share it with yall Men do remember anniversaries > > A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in > their bed. She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She > finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him. > He appears deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he > wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of coffee. > > "What's the matter dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room, "Why are you down here at this time of night?" > > "Do you remember when I met you and you were only 16?" he asks > solemnly. > > The wife is touched to tears thinking that her husband is so caring and sensitive. "Yes, I do" she replies. > > The husband pauses. The words are not coming easily. "Do you remember > when your father caught us in the back seat of my car, making love?" > > "Yes, I remember" says the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him. > > The husband continues... "Do you remember when he shoved a shotgun in > my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to > jail for 20 years?'" > > "I remember that too" she replies softly. > > He wipes another tear from his cheek and says... > > "I would have gotten out today."

Ok, we just got in from my sons first diabetic appointment with his dr...He said he is insulin resistant..Basically that he needed to cut out breads and startches to try to get it under control...He did tell me something that I didnt know, that we should never go for anything that says "fat free or low fat" due to them being very high in sugars...And he also told me (this I dont know if I believe or not) that since my son was around 8 lbs when he was born that I must have had some type of gestinal diabetes at the time of birth and past it on to him...Also that hispanics are very high candidates for this type of diabetes...So, he got half of it from his dad with him being hispanic and half from me since I was probably as he says diabetic at the time..Poor thing didnt have a chance from the get go..As far as getting in to see the nutritionist that was a no go...She is out of network on my insurance and it costs too much to get in to see her without the benifits...So we are doing the diet thing for him for a month and go back to see if his insulin level is in check... As for my check in for today: 8 ounces of whey protein (breakfast) protein bar (snack) handfull of popcorn chicken on the way to the dr (lunch) chicken club salad with lite ranch (planned dinner) 40 ounces of peach tea 20 ounces of green tea with honey and lemon 35 minutes on the gazelle for my workout for the day

Thats really a good idea...My son was in karate for about 3 years...Earned his way up to a brown/red belt before he got burned out...But it is great for their bodys and minds...We just had him going way too much, he had his usual 2 classes a week, plus his gymnastics, plus his sparring, plus his demo team, plus his private class and then at his stage he had to go in and assist teaching a younger class twice a week which they made him do to earn some credits for his black belt...Its really a commitment that they have to stick to...He really loved it before he got to be a higher rank and had to go so much...But he was alot healthier when he was going...Well off for the shower so I can pick him up for the dr...Hey, one more thought...My sons karate teacher also had adult kick boxing classes for adultes too, just something to think about!!!

Oh Ok, I thought you were trying to get me pumped up to do something...lol...The pizza night is biweekly...Its every other Thursday night before payday...He would live on pizza if I let him...He has drank the diet caffine free dr peppers for the last few years...We had problems with him sleeping at night when he did drink the regular ones so his dr had us switch over...I have tried putting him on diet, but it is just so hard to do that to a kid...I went for about a month just serving him a meat and vegetable and he always asked "wheres the 3rd thing?"...He always called the startchy stuff like potatoes and mac & cheese the 3rd things..lol...He thought his world had come to an end when he didnt have them on his plate...I blame myself for it due to not teaching him the proper way to eat when he was younger, we could have prevented all of this and maybe I wouldnt have gained all my weight either...But such is life, its all a learning experience...I am just thankful that he is just borderline and that it can probably be taken care of just by his diet instead of injections...Well, I guess I dont know all of that for sure yet, but that is what I am guessing...Will learn more at the dr today
