  1. I just got through the snotty stuff too. thank goodness i don't have much in my band so i didn't get stopped up.

something you might try is a nelly pot/ sinus rinse. the snot(yuck) goes out your nose not down your throat.

i have chronic sinus infections and had to go to an ear/nose/throat

doc for help. i had nose surgery and also started allergy shots. the ENT helped.

  2. i'm 4'11 and my port is two inches above to the left of by belly button. i was so excited two weekends ago because i could wear a pair of jeans and they wern't tight. as the day progressed...i had to ditch the pants for elastic band shorts because of the port. i hope i'll be able to wear jeans again...but those pants will go to someone else ... they will be too big by the time the port pain stops with jeans.

  3. I had my first fill on friday. i found out that i had 2 cc in already and was given 1 additional cc. i have a sinus infection so the PA wouldn't do more than 1 cc because the mucus can clot you off. i kinda feel the difference when eating. i get to see my doc tomorrow.

    good luck my fellow bandsters,

    sandy

  4. i'm in bandland as of yesterday. wow what a day. in at seven out by eleven but hubby had to do little work so didnt get home till 4. i was tired. i have been running a low grade fever. but have been walking around house and outside. sipping on juice and shake. i slept in a recliner...tried the bed and it was so uncomfortable. today is much better, pains not as bad.

gook luck and prayers to the next groups of bunnies!

  5. Hi my name is Sandy, 43, married 23yrs, no kiddos. I worked for a job for 15 yrs sitting on my rear gaining weight. I changed careers, RN, now I'm up moving and slowly feeling like my knees are falling apart. One of the girls at church had LB and lost over 100lbs, she has been encourging my husband to have the LB done for a year and the more she talked, I thought "I'll do it". I'm 5ft @ 220lbs/bmi 44.5...so the joke is I'm my husbands "guinia pig" on losing weight with the LB. :smile2:

So maybe he will support me and see my changes and he will do the same.

good luck and my prayers are with all of you BUNNIES,

    s
