Sooo I am a nurse and I tell all my laproscopic patients to walk walk walk and elevate your feet above your chest to help alleviate the gas pains. Usually works.....my husband just said so when your whining do I remind you of that....I said yep I will try to take your advice. I am so glad you are all doing well. I cant wait.

What kind of things are you packing to take with you? I have to travel 3 hours to Denver for my surgery so we are driving over the day before and staying in a hotel. My husband got time off from work so he'll be there the whole time. I hope that I took enough time off from work, I am sure I'll be fine. I just wish it were over already. -

Hey there I am scheduled for surgery April 16 as well. I am starting to get very nervous and excited. I start my preop diet tommorrow. I just wish it would hurry up and get here. -

On the other thread I was asked where I am from so scoobydo I think it was I am in colorado. I am so very excited to get started. I also dont look forward to telling family members especially my in-laws, I know they will be judgemental. I know I will have to tell them as well. I am a nurse so I know all the medical complications and so forth so I dont want to justify my decision to them. Anyhow glad to be here whoohoo its gonna happen. -
I got a call from the docs office today and they asked if I could switch my date to April 16 and I thought the sooner the better so now my day has changed. I have to start my post op diet on April 2. So excited cant believe its actually going to happen.

Hey all I am soooo very excited I just received my approval from my bank on my loan (I am a self payer) My scheduled day for surgery is April 20 whoohooo. So Auddie you and me we will start together.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for places for loans. I will have to pay out of pocket and my credit isnt outstanding but it also isnt horrible. Any suggestions???

Whoohoo I got approved for a low interest loan through my credit union. I am going to schedule the surgery tomorrow morning. I am sooo excited.
