  1. Your band date is my birthday. You'll be fine. You chose a great surgeon. Congratulations.
  2. I'm down two this week. But...husband comes home tomorrow for a week. I tend not to do well when he's around. Plus Thanksgiving...ugh. Hoping for the best.
  3. Confused...I thought today was the baseline weight for the challenge. Works for me that we're deducting though.
  4. OK, weighed in for the challenge. I lost two pounds this past week, so not sure I'll lose any during this first week. We'll see. Good luck everyone!
  5. The casino was fun, of course. I couldn't win anything all day though. Spending the day with Deb was even better. Don't know about bingo...I'll have to let you know when you want to go. I'm too busy right now to even think about it.
  6. Oh alright...put me in for ten pounds.
  7. I'll meet you and Julie for dinner. Red Robin on Arapahoe is fine, but if somewhere else works better for you two, I can go anywhere. I can be there any time after about 7:30. I'll check this board for info, but you can call my cell if you want, too. 303-669-2350
  8. Down one pound this week. I updated the chart. There are two things I don't like about the chart: I have to hunt for the link through previous posts, and I like to see everyone's progress through posts. OK, I'm probably just lazy.
  9. Julie, let me know if you need anything once you get home. I could bring your family some dinner or something.
  10. Oh my gosh, Mini, I'm so jealous! You look great. I don't even want to broach the subject of a tummy tuck with my husband since it was just last March that we sprung for my band surgery...but your before pictures are more flattering than my belly right now.
  11. Nothing new here, that's why I haven't posted anything. Looking forward to fall break from school. I'm going to Lake Tahoe for three nights (Harvey's casino is flying me and a friend there), then two hours after landing back here, flying to Cancun with three friends from work for a three night stay. Must lose at least ten pounds before that. I've got about three weeks.
  12. Don't feel bad at all. We look forward to the get togethers and would've picked you up from the mountains if that's where you were. It was just a series of unfortunate events and a serious error in communication on my part. Looking forward to meeting you next time.
  13. Ugh, what a fiasco! So Kayleigh's Mommy, Coloradomom and I were supposed to meet tonight at Chili's on Colorado Blvd. and I25 (my restaurant suggestion, by the way). I was running late, coming from water aerobics, so as I raced up I25, I noticed that the Chili's I meant was at Hampden, not Colorado (oops). So I run in there, they aren't there. So I find the only Chili's on Colorado...not there. So I go back to the one on Hampden...not there. Of course, I don't have Julie's number with me, so I give up at about 7:55 and go home. Meanwhile, Julie is leaving me messages on my home phone (doesn't have my cell number with her) saying she is running late, then that they are at Chili's. Moral to the story: 1)put phone numbers in your cell phone. I should have done that already. 2)know what you're talking about when you select a restaurant to meet at. So sad I couldn't meet up with them tonight.
  14. Julie, I finally figured out how to get into the spreadsheet, but I was not on it . So, I added myself. I hope I did it right.
  15. Julie, I was just looking at the goals, and I had forgotten that I said 16. My weight loss was based on 15 to hit my next goal and I lost another pound in the interim. Sooo, can you actually put me down for 3 instead of 2? Sorry if this is confusing. It's confusing to explain it.
  16. Julie, put me down for -2 for the week please. I'm up for Red Robin, but if no one besides you, me and Coloradomom are available, maybe we can go somewhere a little closer to us?
  17. The dance was fun. I'm exhausted though. I only had time to eat crappy this week, and didn't get to go to water aerobics at all because my school has homecoming events all week, every night. I'm amazed I didn't put any weight on. The Hall of Fame Induction was sooo cool. Roger and I had a blast. Of course I didn't win at the casino, but loved it. The casino is huge and I got lost three times.
  18. I did no dancing. Not sure you could call what the kids did dancing either...more like foreplay. You'd be horrified to see how teenagers dance these days (wow, I sound old). Lots of grinding and they don't ever face each other. Luckily, all my purchases at Party City were covered by the school.
  19. Danyett, welcome! Nice to have another local on here to drag to Red Robin every month. Julie, no change for me. Haven't gained, haven't lost. It was a crazy week here...homecoming week at the high school where I work, and I was in charge of the dance. So relieved it's over.
  20. Haven't decided on the haircut. It's just nice to know that it's an option now that I hit that goal.
  21. Mini, how exciting for you! Not the pain part, or the fainting part, but...you know what I mean. Julie, I'm always up for Red Robin. Just remind me as we get closer to the date. I lost that one pound, so now I've lost an even 50 pounds since surgery. Yay! Next goal of fifteen will put me at what I weighed in 2000 after a major diet.
  22. Julie, I'm going for a somewhat conservative 16 pounds in the next challenge.
  23. Patty! We were just talking about you at Red Robin and how we haven't heard from you in a while. It's nice to see you check in. It's late (for me, cuz I'm a wimp), so I won't take the time to comment on all of your points, but don't let anyone get you down. You rock. I wonder if your job satisfaction is anything like mine...my student can hear and is lazy, so interpreting for someone who doesn't pay attention to me and does no work is very frustrating to me.
  24. I'll be at Red Robin before 7 so you guys can check out the clothes I'm getting rid of. The chocolate to bacon ratio was way off...it just tasted like chocolate. Some people at work talked me into whipping up my own batch today to bring in to work tomorrow. I'll bring you a piece.
  25. Minus 2 for this week. Missed my goal by one pound. May have been the chocolate covered bacon I had at The Taste of Colorado...or the two ears of corn, or the hot dog. See you at Red Robin tonight.
