Hey dear! Yep, that's why they call this 'Bandster Hell'...not enough restriction yet and yet you've got the band so you feel like it should be working! Remember, lots of people here gain weight at this point...the band isn't really working for you yet! You're kicking butt in the exercise department...I'm in awe. I can't even get motivated to get in 30 min. often enough...you've shamed me into getting on the treadmill tomorrow for longer...thanks for the motivation! Hang in there, the sweet spot it coming (and remind me I said this when I'm whining about gaining weight in bandster hell). Keep me posted!!! You're doing great!!! -BG

Hey B_G, how's it going? You're entries are always uplifting and interesting. I haven't been on here in about 3 weeks. I got my first fill on March 8th so it's been a week and a half and I really don't feel much restriction. I don't like that at all : ( I'm exercising my butt off - or at least I hope I am. I've been getting in 60 - 75 minutes 6 days per week on my elliptical machine! It's grewling but I feel like I have to since I'm able to eat more than what I think I should be able to. I try not to but sometimes it's hard. I can't wait until my next fill but that's not until May 20th! Well, keep us posted!

Hey! Congrats on your weight loss! I've lost almost 20 in three weeks. My doctor told me that I lost weight because of my pre op diet and I didn't tell him that I didn't even do it! Which was very tacky on my part. Thank God my surgery wasn't postponed. If it was, it would have served me right. But don't worry about the weight loss slowing. I joined the gym last week and I am doing okay I guess. I am making it a point not to count each pound because if and when I slow down with losing I won't be discouraged. Anywho! Keep me informed and stay in touch.

Hey new friend! You're doing so well!!! Don't get discouraged when the weight loss slows or even if you gain between fills...that's why they call this point Bandster Hell...it's all up to you until you get to the Sweet Spot, so just remember that you'll get there. If you haven't found the 'March 2009' group under forums you should check in with them too as they're all about the exact same place you are (let me know if you can't find it).
I had a wild long weekend...kid stuff, strep throat, and one home from college until last night. Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir though...you have plenty to keep you busy!!!
Hope all the swelling/pain is gone at least at this point and you'll be off mushies soon! -BG

Hey Dublingirl! Glad things are going well for you. Yea, don't risk the solid foods yet or even blended. Stay on those liquids the full first week. So is Dublin girl as in Dublin, Texas? Just wondering - I'm near there. Good luck to you, keep us posted!

Hey Band_Groupie, how's it going? Just thought I'd check in with you. It's been about a week and a half since my surgery and I'm down about 15 lbs. Wish it could keep coming off that fast but I know it won't. I started walking Saturday and have managed to walk every day so far. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Hey girl, just thought I'd check in with you to see how it's going. It's been about a week and a half for me and I'm down about 15 lbs. I know I won't keep losing at this rate but as long as I'm losing that's ok with me. I've started walking for the past three days so hopefully that will help too! Good Luck!

Hey Jenny, you got banded just before I did. I was banded on March 13th so I'm just about a week and a half in and have lost about 15 pounds so far. The first week was really easy for me. These past few days I feel like I'm eating too much but when I look at what I've eaten it really isn't much. I guess I'm just afraid I'll over do it and won't lose any more. I have been walking every day for the past 3 days so hopefully that will help me progress as well. Well, welcome and Good Luck to you! Keep us up to date!
