    5 months post op update

Wow you are rocking it too ! You are doing the right things as well .. I'm sure you will reach your goal ... I just wish I didn't have another 90-100 to lose .. lol .. But I'm determined.. eating right, lifting weights, and swimming 3 times a week (since I can't walk - bad knees) I'm sure to do all I can to reach the next goal by this time next year .. or sooner ! Good luck with your success !

  3. Well it's a small milestone but I've officially lost 100 lbs since surgery on July 1. I was 441 then and now I'm 341 as of Dec 1. Overall for the year that puts me at 132lbs lost! I've been eating right, no cheating, working with weights for my arms and just started swimming 2 wks ago. I go swimming 4 days a week for 30 mins. I still have a long way to go but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G973U using BariatricPal mobile app

    This is weird

This is strange, I've been tracking, in Sept I was stalled for 19 days. But i lost 17lbs during the 11 days I wasn't. The key here I've found is to keep on track as hard as it may seem. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G973U using BariatricPal mobile app

    I really don't like stalls

Congrats looly ! Keep it up ! I too finished the stall a couple days after this post (7 day stall) and I lost 7 lbs since then. Down to 373 now! Just have to stick with plan I guess

    30lbs

    Congratulations !
  8. Had my surgery July 1. I was losing weight like crazy. I had one 4 day stall in August- not too bad. Then Sept rolls in, Already lost 58 lbs since July 1. I stalled from Sept 5 to Sept 12 (7 days) then I only lost 2 lbs ! Then stalled again from Sept 13 to Sept 20 and lost another 2 lbs this morning .. I hope it gets better tomorrow and next week. I am eating exactly same diet religiously 650-700 calories per day and tons of water (over 100oz) , and 75-85g protein every day . On another note I have been a lot more active and doing things around the garage and yard, cutting tree limbs, etc. I know I'm building muscle and my pants are getting more slack. I am thinking about getting into swimming at the gym to get some cardio in. Anyone have suggestions on how to keep the stalls from happening ? Thanks !

    The dreaded Weight loss Stall

Thanks for the info. I broke the stall a few days ago and already lost 4 more lbs.. It was discouraging being in a stall but I guess as long as we realize it will happen from time to time we can deal with it.. Sticking with the plan and Never Give Up !

    The dreaded Weight loss Stall

Wow, I didn't know a stall could last that long. Thanks for letting me know .. I know it's depressing after 5 days, I can't imagine for 3 weeks.. Here's hoping to success for you, me , everyone !
  11. It's been about 7 weeks since surgery and I've lost 45 lbs and now I've been in a stall for the last 5 days. Hopefully it will get back to normal in a few days., Nothing has changed, I'm still drinking lots of water, eating same foods.. keeping calories to 650/day as per Docs orders... I guess this is normal for the weight loss ? Your body just readjusting itself ?

    Chinese Food Puree

Good points. I'm throwing out the chinese food. Nothing but seaweed and tofu for me from now on

    Chinese Food Puree

As per Doctors orders I have to be on pureed foods for 2 more weeks. Then on to regular foods.

    Chinese Food Puree

Oh Darn, Thanks for the info, I hadn't thought about this sauce being high in calories. I thought I was getting a good mix of protein and vegetables. I guess I'll try it without the sauce. I bet it still tastes good.
