For so long I tried to ignore all the discomfort and embaressment of being overweight. The rides at 6 Flags, or Disney World, the sore thighs, the airplane seats, not even mentioning the belts! To even begin to imagine life without these issues is just amazing! I get banded March 19th. I have so many emotions running through my head...scared, excited, nervous! To not have to go through any of these experiences ever again??? Bring it on...

Hi! I am scheduled for surgery on March 19th in Garland, TX by Dr. Nicholson. I am really excited to start this new stage of my life!

:ohmy:OMG! I am having surgery in one week, and I have not been good at all about my pre-op diet! My doctor wanted me to do the standard slim-fast diet with one sensible meal a day, but he didn't say anything about not doing the surgery if my liver was fatty! Actually, he knows that my 20 year anniversery is the day before, and when I asked about going out to dinner, he told me to "have a steak for him!" I guess I better start taking this part more seriously! :mad2:
