Hi money, It was my time of the mth when I went for my op, they were fine when i tried to explaine it to the nurses. On the sat nite, they wanted me to go to the too using a bed pan, I expalined and they just let me walk to the loo, everything was fine, as for the op I kept my knickers on. I hope that this helps. Dont swap dates, you will be fine. mandy

Hi, feeling nice and dandy, some times I get realy tired, but it dosent help with me being overweight, But that will soon be sorted:thumbup:. The drinking of water is hard, but t is ok. you sound that you have got it sorted now, I just try and drink loads of water all day. I have found that I am getting very bloated as the day gose on. My stomack dose hurt, I am not sure if it is because I am taking so much liquid in and no food ( you know wat I mean by food), I am hoping this inproves when I start the mushy stage. Has any1 had this problem.? Glad your feeling a bit better today. Mandyx

hi everybody, the posts are great, your all doing so well, brill news for the banded peeps, you had done the rite thing. I am going to be boring now peeps, prob just going over wat every one els has been chatting about, foods that you can eat after the liquids. Today is the 1st day that I have eaten, I had scrambled egg, and I ate it all, I was hungrey, but I have just read that some peeps can only eat a few mouthfulls. Any more information on what you peeps eat, would be great. I am interested in having a tummy tuck, when I have lost weight. I thought that I would have to wait untill I had lost my weight b4 going to the docs. Saying that I may change docs, because when I went re having the gastric band on the NHS, I did'nt get anywere. Any advice would be good. Hope your all well and happy. Thanks in advance Mandy xx P.s How do you look at peoples pics on here. x

I am 9 days post op, all is well, the wind has gone, my stiches have been cut to the skin, and only a slight pain near the bigger scare, but nothing that I cant cope with. lol. Tomoz I can start on the puree/mushy part of the diet. I may stop on the liquids part of the diet till the end of the week. Hi everyone, it is good to see everyone is doing well. Welcome to the newcomers, brilliant news to the losers who are happly loseing. I am so glad that I found this site. Pixie, When I told my family, they were concerned about me having the op, they all wished me well, some did say, I should try dieting harder, even get a fittness coach a couple of times a week, ha, ha. I explained that I need something that would help me for the rest of my life, hopefully and that is why I chose the band. It is not a short term fix, a faddy diet, were I lose a couple of stone, then put 4 back on, my band will help me lose the weight and keep it off. Which has never happened be4. If peeps dont have problems with their weight, they truely do not understand. If this is wat you realy want, go for it with both hands. Good luck. Mandy:thumbup:
