There is always the Braintree Mall area, or somewhere along the 95 belt. That may be easier than dealing with downtown Boston.

Saturday would work better than Sunday for me, personally.

Happy New Year to all my fellow single bandsters!! I think this year will be an exciting one for all of us, with many stories to share! JDru - I want to start dating again in 2007 as well. I'm thinking by the end of January I'll get online. It's not my preferred method, but really one of the few ways to really meet people. I'm sure we'll have great stories to share back and forth! lol

Hi everyone! I am at my wit's end with this neighbor of mine. This morning I'm packing up some - around 11am. He's been up for hours, because I heard him around 9am gabbing on the phone. So I'm packing up my kitchen, so it must be making some noise. He yells, again, and is how blaring music so loud it makes the building shake. I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE!!!!!! It is taking all of me not to jump up and down on this floor and tell this guy off. He's now taken to playing music this loud at 10 or 11 at night. I think he's doing it on purpose to piss me off. I hate getting this angry, but man he has pushed my buttons!! Grrrr.... Just one more week of this hell. I feel better getting that off my chest. Thanks for listening. I've got to hop in the shower to get ready to go see Disney on Ice with my sister and two neices. I feel horrible still and tried to cancel, but my 3 year old neice cried when she found out Auntie wasn't coming. I caved. lol. Hope everyone is well!

Supergenious you will probably lose 6 lbs in the first week! Congrats on your banding. You'll do great!

I'm shooting for 15 lbs by Valentine's Day, although I won't get there if I keep eating like I have been lately. Ugh! lol. I am using January 1st as a clean slate too. Between the holidays and stress at work and home, I've been munching way too much. So back on track for me! I didn't get this operation to only lose 30 lbs, that's for sure! Kristi I am moving to a new apartment in the same town, just way from my building and my psycho neighbor that lives downstairs. Yikes!

I am in aaamom!! I live in Mansfield, and would drive about an hour or so as well. I work in Natick so depending on where the meeting is a weeknight might work. Otherwise, personally, I prefer a weekend or maybe a Friday night. I'm moving next weekend and am unavailable the first weekend in Feb. Other than that I think I'm pretty open. I can't wait!!!!

Add me to the list of sick bandsters! It's an epidemic! lol I've got a sore throat, post nasal drip, and just feel yucky! Bleck! Other than that I've just been working my butt off at work and packing up for my move next weekend. I angered the psycho last night when I was packing. He started yelling again. lol. Oh well - only another week and a half and then I'm in my new place. Well off to have some chicken Soup while I cuddle in a blanket!

Turner I made it to 9.5 lbs. Close, but no cigar! I want to try and lose 20lbs by my Birthday, which is February 21st, so I am bound and determined to make the Valentine's Day Challenge!

Puddin I always say the best way to get over a guy is to date a new one. As long as you're not hurting anyone in the process, I think it's great for you to be dating other people. Break ups are very, very hard and unfortunately it just really takes time I think. You are beautiful just the way you are and deserve someone who thinks so and respects you for your morals and values, and who doesn't talk about having sex with his ex-girlfriend after you spent a weekend making out with him. Try and remain strong, and just know that you'll find the right guy, even if you have to kiss a few frogs along the way.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays! I enjoyed them a bit too much, to the tune of 2 lbs gained. Ugh! Oh well, time to dust myself off and get back on track. So does anyone have any fun plans for New Year's? I was going to try and go out that night, but I just found out that I'll be moving on the 6th of January so I think I'm going to spend it packing. Sad, huh? lol. But I'm ok with it because I'm really looking forward to 2007. This is going to be a wonderful year for all of us!

Cindy I love the pic and think it would make a great avatar! Eileen sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope he gets better soon! Beanie - what a post!! lol. Christmas dinner was great thanks! I hope yours was as well. I'm sick of eating though, which it sounds like you are too. It's great that you will have new inspiration at work though. You two will really be able to support each other. That can make all the difference. Mandy - what a beautiful post! This time of year really makes you reflect on the things that are important to you, especially your friends and family. Even though I am a newbie the LBT family means a lot to me. I can only imagine how that will grow over time. And to everyone else - I hope you all survived and enjoyed the holiday!

Definitely - let's shoot for 15 lbs by Valentine's Day! And I agree with threebeauties on both fronts, 1) let's start right away and 2) we shouldn't feel like failures if we don't make the goal. It's something extra to keep us motivated!!

I know aaamom is definitely in for the get together! Since Rainbow lives in Palmer and has a funky work schedule, after the holidays she is going to give us a Saturday in January that will work for her, and we're going to try and arrange the meeting from there. I can't wait! I had a chance to meet Rainbow and she was so nice! I can't wait to meet the rest of my new friends as well! :girl_hug:

Hi Dez! I'm doing great, thanks, and glad to hear that things are well with you! Congrats on the weight loss. It is tough this time of year. I love June as well. She is great! Kay - congrats on your banding and I agree - everyone at BIDMC is great! They are having a reunion in March and I think most of us were thinking of going. We're also looking to plan a get together after the holidays as well. We'll post it here and you are more than welcome to join us. We'd love to see you! Hi to Rainbow, Nana, Sherry and everyone else.
