I didn't make the Easter Challenge either. I lost 4.6 pounds. Better than nothing I suppose! Jimboss I agree that moving stinks!! I just moved in January and I'm still not unpacked. Yikes! Good luck with everything!

Welcome Denise and Kristin! We're all at different stages of the single & dating process, so I'm glad you joined us. Kristin - I have found that any serious relationship I've had has absolutely wrecked my self-esteem when it ended. It's terrible and hard to get over, but it will happen. I'm sure it hurts you very much that he's dating someone already - I know it would hurt me. The best thing you can do for yourself I think is to go out and have some fun, and to focus all your attention on yourself. You deserve it! And ALWAYS remember that it's his loss!

Oh Soniacan, Mandy was there, right? I chat with her on another board - she is a sweetheart. Another banded friend and myself are thinking of taking a trip to Disney in Sept, the same week she'll be there. So we're hoping to meet.

Oooooh Cindy I'm so excited for you! Any day now you'll officially be in Onderland! What an accomplishment! Mandy I think Sherry and I are shooting for the 3rd week in Sept, so we very well may be there the same time. How cool would that be?! I'm heading to NH to my Aunt's house and for the first time in years I'm not self-conscious about having gained weight. That's the nice part. Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while and wow I've missed a lot! Pistol - loved your post and I don't know what you're talking about with the spelling. You should post more often!! Raynie - I'm 226 right now and in 20 bottoms and either a 14/16 or 18/20 top. I'm about 10 lbs away from being in 18 bottoms and 14/16 tops completely. Jess - way to go girlfriend! I could take a lesson or two from you about the working out. It just goes to show you that it really does make a difference. Keep up the GREAT work! Jimboss - congrats on breaking that plateau!! It feels good, doesn't it. Things are fairly good with me here. I seem to be sticking at the same weight for a few weeks and then bam, I'll drop a few pounds in a couple days. As long as I continue to move in that direction I'll be happy. Honestly, if I look back at the last six months I can't say that this has been an easy journey, but I can say that I am happy with my weight loss considering the effort I have put into it. My goal for the next six months is to increase my effort so I can get off this last 40 lbs! Happy Easter and/or Passover to all!

Mandy thanks for posting the info on Disney. Sherry and I are planning a trip for September, and how great would it be if we could get free food out of it?! Sherry has a smidge of guilt about going on vaca without her son and hubby, but we're working on that. lol. Keep us updated on when that deal posts! Here we come Disney!! Hi to everyone! Things have been good here, just busy as usual these days. The Bridal Shower is next weekend, so we were working on some of the final details last night. The next month and a half will be a blur, and then i'm hoping to go on vaca after the wedding. I need a break! lol Update on tattoo boy. We had a good, long talk last Sunday about a lot of things. The relationship was getting strained due to each of us allowing stuff from our past to get in the way. We were able to communicate very well, and I think the talks helped us tremendously. We're still taking it slow, and just trying to spend time with each other so we can get to know each other better. Sherry should meet him within the next couple of weeks, and I'm sure she'll give you a full report. lol Well off to the office today to catch up on some backlog. Calgon take me away! lol

Puddin I'm so sorry things turned out the way they did with Travis. What a JERK he turned out to be! You need to remember that the problem is NOT you, it's these guys. Perhaps the worst thing you are guilty of is choosing the wrong men which, honestly, is something I think I struggle with too. Either that or the majority of men that are still single are complete asses. hmm...maybe I just stumbled onto something. lol Keep your chin up puddin.

Thanks for the post Cathy. It's funny you mention this because when I first starting dating tattoo boy and told him about my band, he asked how much weight I wanted to lose and how small I wanted to get? First time that's ever happened! lol

Hi Nana!!! Glad to hear you're doing well! I'll be honest with you, I'm naseous a lot these days. Anytime I get stressed I get naseous, whereas I used to grab for the closest thing I could shove in my mouth. There are also many days where I just don't feel like eating anything because my tummy is a bit naseous. This didn't happen for me until after my second fill but honestly, I'm happy about it. Anything that makes me not want to eat is a good thing! lol But if you get to the point where you're not able to get your food in, there's a problem. But you're still healing so it's probably connected to that is my guess.

Dez you crack me up! And what a great idea about the challenge! I'm in, although I won't be able to make May 5th. And if you lose the most weight, I'll get you a little prize. Deal?? Deb good for you! Quitting smoking would be a huge step in the right direction for getting healthy. I know it'll be hard, but if anyone can do it, you can!

So the scale finally moved after being stuck for weeks. Yeah!!! I don't think I'll make the Easter Challenge goal, but at least I'm losing something! Hope everyone else makes goal!

Good morning everyone! It's a nice, sunny day here in MA. I'm so happy the nice weather is finally here! Eileen - so sorry that this day holds such a bad memory for you. Losing a loved one is tough and something that never goes away. We'll be thinking of ya! Mandy and Kat - don't you ladies sleep?! lol Betty - I'm glad you're taking it easy on that back! Hope it's 100% soon. Hi Sherry! Andy went to the fishing show yesterday. hmmm...yet another way they are similar. lol So last night I saw Andy (tattoo boy) for the first time in two weeks (since his grandfather died). It was a little awkward at first, but then it was ok. We had a nice dinner at Legal Seafoods (and finally figured out we're better off just sharing a meal lol), and then relaxed on the sofa for a bit. We didn't talk much about the past two weeks, other than he said that he missed me and I told him I was sorry he had such a rough couple of weeks. Now he's sick with a cough and a cold, so it was an early night. I had a nice time, but I'm back to being undecided about things. I don't know - this dating stuff is just too much sometimes. lol

Kristi I totally get it and that's how tattoo boy and I are too. We're not dating anyone else, we like each other, but we're not quite in a "relationship" yet. So yep, I get ya! lol You know I started typing out the skinny with tattoo boy and then decided it's probably just easier to sum it up as some communication issues right now. lol. His grandfather died, and that has been hard for him, and he's completely pushed me a way. We're seeing each other tonight, which will be the first time in two weeks. We'll see how it goes. I'll definitely let you know. But I'm glad things seem to be working well for you and your new man. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! Wootsie hon - you are breaking hearts left and right! lol. You go girl! My opinion is any guy that wants to marry you already - RUN and run FAST. lol. I don't know, maybe it's just where I'm at in my life right now but that makes me leery. I don't know if they're looking for a sugar mama or what, but I'd be suspicious. But you know these people beetter than I do, so do what you feel comfortable with. Just know that anyone worth your time and effort will be patient with you while you make the right decision.

Ooooh Cindy I'm so sorry to hear that you're being sued. Ugh! You're insurance company will take care of it. I can guarantee you she's just looking to make a quick buck and will settle for whatever the insurance company is willing to pay. The sad part is they will probably settle with her because it's cheaper than fighting her. It's a vicious cycle!

Oh no Cheri, don't get me wrong. I am THRILLED with my decision to get the band. It does help with hunger, the physical hunger, but not with the head hunger. And sometimes it's not easy, but it's always worth it. It's a journey, and all the changes you need to make to be successful don't happen overnight. As long as you've come to terms with what being successful will take, I say go for it!

Oh puddin - if you need to break one of the "rules", make it masturbating. It honestly will help you deal with some of the sex issues better. It's not that it makes the desire go away, but you'll be able to control your urges more if you are...um...relieving the tension yourself. And I can relate to the religion thing because I grew up very religious - Born Again Christian - where everything was a sin. I'm more spiritual than religious now, but I really, honestly believe that if you're a good person God will not keep you out of heaven because you masturbated, especially if it keeps you from having pre-marital sex (if you don't want to). It's ok to be a sexual being, and I think it's also ok to be a religious sexual being that loves god. You'll find your balance. You're so good about being open and candid about things, hope you don't mind me throwing in my two cents.

Hi everyone! Yes, I am alive and sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been really busy at work and with some personal things (mostly my friends wedding stuff), including tattoo boy. We've hit kind of a rough patch. lol Surprise, surprise. lol His grandfather died last Monday, which was more like a father to him than a grandfather. He's done a 360 and is completely pushing me away. I don't really know what to make of it (as Sherry has heard plenty about lol). But all I know is that I can't focus on it because it will drive me nuts. What will be will be! By the way Betty I LOVE the pics of the trumpet vine - it's beautiful!
