Hey guys, just got back from a work trip to Myrtle Beach. The weather was great but man, I hate and drank waaay too much. lol. But I'm still alive and kicking. I'm in a wedding on May 20th, but other than that I should be around. I would love to see everyone!!

Oh Kat I'm so sorry that Rick is having health issues again! It has been quite a year for your family. We will be thinking of you both! Mandy - our price of $650 included airfare. I think it was around $150 and airtran as well. Although Diseny messed up booking our tickets, and put Sherry's last name the same as mine. This is even though we used her credit card for the deposit AND I asked the guy what info he needed on Sherry for the plane ticket. Now I have to fed-ex the air ticket back to get a new ticket. I'm not happy. grrr... Congtrats on your date Pat!!! WhooHooo! It has been a long wait, that's for sure! Hi Darcy, Cindy, Beanie, Eileen, Betty, and everyone else! So Sherry and I have decided that we need to start exercising so we're using Disney as a motivator. We have committed to exercising 3 times a week each week between now and Disney. Seriously your age group is a bit tough, but hang in there. Honestly, I really think online dating does not provide instant gratification. It takes a lot of time, effort, and not-so-good first dates to really find someone you click with. But for me, at my age, it's worth it because there are very few other ways for me to meet single men. AND at least I'm getting out on weekends and not sitting at home all the time. lol Speaking of which I have another date this Saturday, and a potential meet up on Sunday evening. Wish me luck!! Good luck Wootsie! A nice guy will respect your boundaries, especially considering what just happened. So I had my date on Saturday night. What a nice guy! A big bouquet of flowers, opened doors, would not let me pay for a thing, planned a wonderful date - but no spark. Figures! I so want to like him, but it's just not there. I had another date last night and we was nice - for a while anyway. As the night went on I learned that he's 38 and his longest relationship has been 6 months. That scares me. lol. The worst part of it all - he let me "chip in" for my salad, then asked me to go out again. Are you really that cheap? lol. You girls are a hoot with your possum stories. lol For those of you who asked, the date was very nice. He is a top-notch guy all the way. Brought me a huge bouquet of flowers, took me out for a nice dinner, to a romantic bar afterwards for a drink, opened my car door every time, wouldn't let me pay for a thing, and walked me to the door at the end of the night. The problem - no sparks. I really wish they were there, but oh well. I met another guy tonight for dinner and he was nice, but I don't think they'll be a second date. Denise - as far as my fill, I think I have decent restriction most of the time, but there are times I think I need a bit more to get to my "sweet spot". I get fairly hungry between meals too, which I would like to curb. My next appointment is the end of my and I think I"m going to ask for a small fill, like .25 cc's. Oh - and about your size - remember that every day you're going to be looking better and feeling better. But in the meantime, LOVE yourself and your body and know that you are sexy. Denise I'm at 226 now, and I'm 5' 6". I wear a 16 top and a 20 on the bottom. I'd like to lose at least another 26 lbs but am shooting for another 50. If I stopped making excuses and got my butt to the gym like Kristi I'm sure I'd get there sooner! lol

Congrats to you Kristi for 60 lbs down. That is amazing!! I am so happy things are working out so well between you and your tattoo boy (the name's yours now lol). I think you are a sweetheart and deserve the BEST! As for my tattoo boy, I think he just kind of settled into his "real" self and I didn't like it very much. He was moody, and either hot or cold. I got tired of the games and broke it off with him. I "unhid" my profile on Match and within 2 hours I had a date lined up with a guy I went out with once when I first starting dating tattoo boy. lol. We're going out tonight and I'm looking forward to it. Denise I did the same thing as Kristi. Lots of pics, a couple body shots, I even posted one without makeup. lol. I think it's ok to kiss someone on the first date if you want to. For me, I prefer to wait until the second date but I certainly have kissed on the first date and wished that I had been kissed by some first dates. lol. Congrats on your date! I hope you have fun! You know I read somewhere that if you'll stay full longer if you don't drink anything for a full hour after you eat. I've been trying this the past few days and it's really, truly helped. I always half-believed the whole 'don't drink when you eat thing' but now I'm a full believer!

I don't know about anyone else, but i'm fighting my head hunger a lot lately. I'm not physically hungry, but I want to eat. In a way it's good, because it's forcing me to deal with the head hunger if I'm going to lose weight, but man I wish I had no desire to eat when I'm not hungry. But I guess if I did, I would have never needed the band in the first place! lol Jess & losingjustme - keep your heads held high. We all have ups and downs and it's not easy to change all these bad habits that we've had for years. You both have done PHENOMENAL!

You need to copy the "bbc code" from ticker factory after you make your ticker and then go to "edit signature" here at LBT and paste it onto your signature line. It's been a while, but I believe that's how you do it.

Wow Denise, you have certainly had some rough luck with the men in your life. I can see how, in a way, in can be easier to get over someone who has passed away rather than moved on. There is no rejection in death. You'll get there Denise, AND find a wonderful man to spend your days with.

Things are pretty good with me and my tattoo boy, lol, although I'm finding that I go back and forth as to whether or not I am ready/willing to fall for someone again. I didn't realize I had these issues until I met someone I really liked. Ugh! I'll figure it out I'm sure, but for now I'm just taking things slow... Kristin honey, you are so right that you are better off without him! Focus on yourself and what YOU want in a partner, and when you're ready to date again, be CHOOSY. You deserve the best! Denise, it is hard to get over relationships. I broke up with my BF of five years just under 2 years ago. It took me over a year to be really ready to move on. And if you read my above post to Kristi, I'm not even sure that I WANT to get in a relationship again. So you're not alone girlfriend! Wootsie girl, how are things with you and all your men? lol
