hello there, well due to a mix up between my insurance on the job and the Dr. office i ended up with 2weeks out of work ( with pay) instead of a week.. they read .. /2 as being 12 . so i believe it's usually a week, and that's all i really needed but i wasnt going to argue about going back early! i didnt have any real gas pains and didnt require any pain meds, although i bought everything under the sun trying to get prepared for something that never came...lol i was blessed and everything went along smoothly. it is ruff the 1st few days as far as sleeping and moving around but as the days go on you do feel alot better. by the 3rd day i think i was still a little sore in the stomach but could move about okay. i had a tugging feeling in my stomach (when i turned over) for about a month n a half after, from where they attach the port . hope that answered your questions, let me know if you have any others i will try my best to answer them !
