The Biblical Case for Pro-Choice & Stem Cell Research
wild_in97 replied to Tired_Old_Man's topic in Rants & Raves
I am truly sorry for your disease state. But, yes, there can be some help for you as for many others. I can give you the name of a naturopath that I have used and has helped many with Lupus. I send folks to her all the time. But, if you want the info, I won't advertise her name on this site. There have been some interesting finding when it comes to the Parkinson's. I really believe that the Lord put us on this earth with everything here in a natural state that we need. PM me. I am, Wild.............about life. Living can be good. -
The Biblical Case for Pro-Choice & Stem Cell Research

Because they are all, as you, looking to pharmaceuticals and/or the allopathic medical world, for all solutions. Yes, I have some scientific and many experiences to prove this. I want no war with anyone. I truly want to help others, not fight. I am putting my future on the line. I am doing something to help others. Other than fighting others, what are you doing???? I truly love people and want to help others. But to listen to this debate and then no one respond to reversals with natural alternatives was a revealing silent statement. If you would be honest, you would consider that possibility. Maybe not swallow it hook-line and sinker, but consider it. Before you yell at me and accuse me, consider the possibility. That is all I say...........what if. Yes, I have helped someone with severe Parkinson's as well as other major health issues recover. It is not my great discovery..........but I can use it to help others. Sorry, I don't want to fight and I don't want to argue, but it will be pretty obvious which of you do. May God bless you all with great wisdom. Wild............about life. -
The Biblical Case for Pro-Choice & Stem Cell Research

I think it is so interesting that NOT ONE OF YOU were interested in the idea that there are natural molecules that will multiply your OWN NATURAL STEM CELLS. HELLO........ANYONE READING THIS?????? THERE ARE MOLECULES OUT THERE THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO MULTIPLY YOUR OWN STEM CELLS, SO THEREFORE, IF YOU HAVE PARKINSON'S, STROKE ETC............YOU CAN MULTIPLY YOUR OWN STEM CELLS AND REVERSE YOUR OWN CONDITIONS. BUT YOU ARE ALL SO CONCERNED ABOUT "WINNING" YOUR OWN ARGUMENTS. I SEE HOW MANY ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN A REMEDY IN THE DISEASES THAT ARE OUT THERE..............YOU HAVE A POLITICAL AGENDA.......NOT A STINKING SOLUTION. So, what do we calll that??????????????? You answer that question, I don't think I should. I am going to start a non-profit org to try to help people with this information. I am not trying to convince you, but only detect your selfish ambition and selfish agendas. What pooey you all are full of............................... May the Lord bless you regardless of your total degradation. We all were there at one time................ Saved but not perfect. Wild.................about life. -

Guess what??? Did you guys know there are other things that have been proven to cause you to multiply the number of stem cells your body produces and that your body can actually correct itself when this occurs? For example, I know of some folks that have had some brain injuries due to strokes, accidents etc..........was told their condition would never improve due to the brain injury. However, after taking some natural non-toxic food components, their own body began to produce stem cells and gradually corrected itself. Now, that is a GREAT thing. Wild...........about life. -
Is it detrimental to...
wild_in97 replied to colleensunshine's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think the final decision would be between you and your surgeon....but my gut instinct would be ..........NOOOOOOOO!!!! You don't need to calm your nerves down.........the docts will give you something for that. Relax, you have a long road ahead. God bless Wild -

This totally has nothing to do with the diet...........but we just got back from Spokane. We love that entire area. We lived up there for a couple of years and bought a home in northern Idaho while there. We have kept it all these years and go up there 2-4 times a year to take care of it and enjoy the weather. I LOVE it up there. God bless Wild..........about life, especially in the GREAT Northwest!!!!

I don't know if that is part of why some days I do a lot of pb'ing or what the problem is. I know that I do get so hungry and when I finally eat, it does not feel good for a while, so I certainly don't want to just keep eating. Many people on some of the message boards have told me it sounds as though I need an unfill......but that just aint gonna happen unless I can not get liquid down. My first fill did practically nothing for me at all. I use some natural products that have helped me with sleep and relaxing more. I think it has been a saving grace in me getting over anxious and not being able to satisfy my food cravings with food. I know I do not look forward to food as I once did. I almost dread it some times, but look at it as something I must do. Which if you had told me 6 months ago, that I would feel this way, I would have laughed at you, but then, nobody knows the future. I am losing slow. However, as long as it continues in the right direction, I am ok with it. As little as I eat now, I would think I would lose 2-3 pounds a week, but it seems I am doing good to lose .5 - 1 pound a week. Wild.........about life.

So, how many fills have you had from her? What size band do you have? How much have you lost? These folks that have had 3-5 fills and feel no restriction sounds strange to me. I felt little to nothing after the first fill, but my second fill has had me tight..........almost too tight. She told me I would feel this fill, and boy was she right. I am finally, after almost 6 weeks can eat a small meal with out giving half of it back to the garbage or the toilet. I just went out to eat MX food with my daughter tonight. I had a tamale and one fajita with not much more than the tortilla, some chicken a little lettuce and some green sauce on it. I had to go to the toilet twice and give back a few bites each time. So, i would say out of the entire meal, I guess I kept about half of it.........maybe. :hungry::hungry: She told me to come back in 4-5 weeks for another fill.......but I would probably not be able to keep liquid down if I went back and got another fill. Have a great day. God bless Wild...........about life:clap2::clap2:

Hey, I have kind of a complicated life. Anyone from either of these areas? I could sure use someone to talk to. I am a bit of a loner when it comes to the LapBand. I chose not to tell anyone, but my husband. My husband does not understand weight problems. But he is the only one I trusted with this information. Anyone there????? I was banded July 27th in MX and weight at the peak was 238 and the day of surgery I was 231.5 and now 210. That is not a lot of lost weight, but it is at least moving in the right direction. I know the next 10-15 pounds will make a much bigger empact on the way I look than those first 20 pounds. I am down a full size. Gone from size 18 being almost too small.....they were getting mighty tight. Now 16 is comfortable. ahahahahhhhhhh. I doubt I go to any meeting because I chose to do this surgery in secret. Nobody knows other than hubby. Please tell nobody. This is highly confidential. God bless Wild

Hi, I was banded in MX July 27th of this year. I have only lost around 25 pounds and I do get a bit discouraged from time to time. I have only had two fills. The second one was almost too much. I was filled almost 4 weeks ago and am just now getting to where I can eat two tiny meals a day. If I were eating lots I could understand such slow loss, but I am not eating much of anything. I am not doing the major exercise, but I have increased my activity level. The majority of my loss of the 25 pounds was the first month. I guess I lost about 13-14 that first month............since then, I do good to lose a pound evey week or two. I live in Houston 4 days a week and work in the Humble area those days. My apartment is close to the 610 and 59 S. area, but my home is in another city. It is very complicated portion of my life...... I pray you all have a very GREAT Thanksgiving and do not over stuff yourself. After all, you are not the turkeys.......... God bless Wild

I am not sure what kind of shake you have either. I found some at costco that is a powder form that one serving has 27 grams of Protein. That is a great amount in one serving. I put mine in the blender with ice and orange juice.........it makes it yummy. Another thing I do to zip it up is put a ripe banana in it. Makes almost a milkshake type drink. Also, get a mixture you really like and freeze part of it..........makes you think you are eating ice cream and it is really pretty good. Also, get some really good broths. I love the Knorr brand of the broth cubes. The vegetable broth is really my favorite, but the beef and chicken are great too. I have been banded since the end of July 2006 and I am finally losing my constant mental hunger. The mental hunger is much worse than the physical hunger. Even all my baked goods for the holidays does not make my mouth Water anymore..........and my baked goods are better than 95% of all baked goods in the U.S. That is not bragging, it is just stating facts. I pray you all have a very GREAT and wonderful Thanksgiving. God bless Wild

Six Tijuana doctors arrested in sting
wild_in97 replied to BekahBoo's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Robin, when I was looking into getting banded, going to MX for surgery sounded like suicide. However, through this site, someone private messaged me and told me about their experience. She told me how good she felt about the entire ordeal and never felt safer. Well, I knew I could not afford the $15K to $25K that most doctors in the U.S. charged, plus I was going to have to be self pay because I did not have 40+ BMI. So, my choices were to either get banded in TJ or not get banded at all. I decided that it (the weight)was the thorn in my flesh. I had to do this and if so many other people felt safe doing a particular doctor in TJ, I should just do it. So, I did. To be real honest, Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Martinez were great. They went an extra couple of miles for me and I have to say, the MX doctors did me right. I truly can not complain at all. The American doctors would have not done what they did............ I was very pleased. Take the plunge and do it right. I do suggest you look into dr. Ortiz. However, it was Dr. Martinez that works with Dr. Ortiz that went so much out of his way for me.............though both were great!!!!! God bless Wild
