Hey RyanX93, my name is Emily and I am 15 and currently weigh 300 I am 5ft6 I am also being evaluated right now too but my insurance is being difficult so I am not sure when I am going to get the band :thumbup: I carry my weight good too..I am boderline Diabetic and it runs in my family.. I am VERY disgusted at myself for letting me getting this way..:wub: I guess what I am trying to say is You're not alone.. And GO FOR IT!

well I just flat out told all my friends.. you should not be afraid or hesitant to tell them because if they are really your friends they will understand and support you 100% if they don't then you don't need friends like that sorry to be frank but its true you only need real friends that will be by your side..

So I have been going through pre-op lap band treatment for about 6-8 months and all of a sudden my insurance decided to dump me ,but I am going to fight them till the end, but if they still won't cover my cost then my family and I have talked about getting it done in Mexico.. and I was wondering if anyone has any information on the doctors and the hospitals down there or could even recommend someone..Thanks for the help,Emily
