You are a true inspiration Austindoll! Hope to do as good as you. I was banded on Dec 7th and I have lost 22 lbs so far. Did your time go by quickly, or slowly? I feel like time is dragging by so slowly and I can't wait to get to the finish line. Take care hon! You look great!

I was sooo eager for the weight to start coming off, I wanted it to happen fast. It didn't for me, it's been a lot of work but for a while, my "average" was about 2 lbs a week. Now, it's about 1lb....which I'll gladly take because it gives me time to tone up and build my muscles so I don't get all mushy!
Hang in there!

Thanks for the picture comment! It feels good to know there are others out there who understand what I am going through! Hope you are doing well! I just went through a bad spell with my band being too tight, and seems like overnight, the flood gates have opened up and I need another fill! lol! Hope to see "less of you" in the near future!

Well, it's October 1st and here I am at 157 lbs wearing a size 6 dress. Who would have thought it? Not me for sure. The best news, I'm still off of the insulin and other meds. My health issues have improved so much with still a little work to do. My original goal weight was 135 lbs and hopefully by the end of the year I'll get there? I can only keep working hard and trying my best.

I saw your pics online and I just wanted to wish you well on this journey. I too amd a diabetic which was my reason for the banding. Since the day of my surgery, I have been OFF of the insulin and as time went on I was taken off of my blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds, nexium and my pain meds lessened....it's all so worth it. Just hang in there and be positive. You can do this!

Today I am a size 10. I now weigh 164 lbs. I cannot recall ever being this small. It's a lot to get used to. I am working soooo hard to achieve what I need to with the help of my band. I'm hanging in there and trying to be positive!
