I went alone so I worried that putting my laptop in my backpack would be much weight for me to carry back pre-op. let me tell you, I wish I had it with me! There were times I sure could have used it! If someone is going with you, I'd suggest bringing it, or an iPad if you have one :-) -

The hospital is Oasis and the hotel is Lucerna, you can google "hotel Lucerna in Tijuana" and check it out online...it's very beautiful and very relaxing! -

Nothing has changed in my house as far as what the kids eat. I still cook for them the same way as I did before surgery. My cooking wasn't the problem, the problem was what I ate when the kids weren't around!!! -
Nope, just skim milk. I figure at this point I don't care about flavor, just trying to get some liquids in while trying to feel somewhat full. I guess if you need to you can add a packet of Splenda or something.

Cream of wheat settles my tummy and goes down wery well, I've had great luck with it as long as I thin it out with a little skim milk
