Hi Sue, The first procedure was by far the most extensive and complicated. It was an extended abdominoplasty, monsplasty (removal of excess skin in the groin area), tightening of my abdominal wall, liposuction all around my front, etc. I also, at the same time, underwent a crescent medial thigh lift. If you don't know, this procedure removes the excess skin on the inside of the thigh. The surgeon did liposuction there as well. In total, they removed 8 some-odd pounds of flesh and fat. I actually had a complication from the surgery, illeus of the stomach, a condition where the stomach and bowels go into shock because of the amount of trauma, coupled with anesthesia. No fault of the surgeon, and the team treated me very well. I was in the hospital for six days rather than three. The pain wasn't too bad. I was pretty doped up. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again at all. Just a few weeks ago, I had my second procedure in Bangkok. This was a buttock lift and further liposuction of my back and flanks. This surgery was a PIECE OF CAKE compared to the first one. All in all, I saved over $40k too....Whoa. Regarding cost, I was quoted a little over $50k for the procedures I needed by various surgeons here in Boston. That's when I began researching Thailand, which I love anyway. I had all procedures done there for just a bit over $10,000 USD. Incredible. Hope this helps, and feel free to IM me or message me if I can explain anything further. John
