Hey everyone! I was banded 3/11 and doing good. I have a fill in two weeks, but havent felt overly hungry, keeping the food at 3/4c. with no snacks. Go back to work today, that will be the real challenge for me, i have been out for a month....wish me luck -

The same thing happend to me when i started eating mushy food, i gained 2-3lbs and stayed there for almost 2 weeks. its normal. Ive finally started losing again, i guess the body has to adjust. Good luck!! -

Hey Diva.. why don't you try posting this under "Pre-Lapband" forum, you might get some more responses... I was told that some of the medication can irritate the new pouch, to try and take them prescribed in liquid form if possable. If not available, have to cut them up. good luck -
Hey how you doing?? Contrats on you 8 lbs! thats an excellent start. How's your diet coming?? I finally started losing again, once i started the mushy i gained 2-3 pounds and just stayed there, but now im back down to my lowest again.
If you need any suggestions on the pre-op diet, let me know, I came across mine the dr gave me.

Congrats on your surgery date!! I kept thinking about my liver being ok for surgery too, I didnt want the dr getting in there and not being able to band me. That was my motivation on the pre op. You will do fine!! What kind of pre op diet are you gonna be on?

Wow really?? I just hate to think that the gast. is so permanet and people have more problems. The best advice I can give you is to reeeeeeeeeeealy do your research! Keep me posted!! Let me know if theres anything I can do.

How exciting your getting closer to your surgery date! It's exactly one month for me today. Ive lost 25lbs, but im stuck at the same weight right now, from what everyone says it happends when you start on mushies.
Im keeping my eyes out for some Georgia people for our group!

If your insurance covers it.. good, that gets the ball rolling!! I wish i did it sooner, I have been working for the same company for 4 years now. I love it, wounldnt change my mind for anything or anyone. Good luck with your Journey. -

I guess it depends on your insurance company and what they want. My insurance company covered my band, my letter, which i got from a GYN Dr., was probably 4 sentences long. Good Luck! -
