Hi and sorry , but just hang on. I had my band unfilled in November. I am up to 6 cc but have no restriction. I am having faith that this fill on Friday will be the one to give me restriction. I do agree there is a big difference in the band before and now, but Im hoping for the best. Good luck to you.

Had lapband on March 24th, 2009, down 35 lbs and ok with the lapband. Not many complications but daily struggle with appetite. Band fills dont seem to help much. Surgery went great, very efficient staff and pleasant experience, just need to find that fill spot to curb hunger.

Hi, I have used Dr. Joe on March 24th, 2009. I am ok with the results but still dont have much restriction. He is always good about seeing you but the band fills arent seeming to help much. Wonderful staff and pleasant service just not sure what I actually think of the lap band.

Hi Cheryl, I also think something is wrong with my port as I have had to fills and they only last for 1 week or so. Was the revision as invasive as the initial surgery? I am not sure if I can tackle this again. I have lost 32 lbs and had my surgery on mar 24th, 2009 but am losing faith in it. I go for another fill on July 2nd. Losing faith

Hello, and so sorry about your misfortune with the band. Somethings we dont understand but we just have to put things in Gods hands. He is our guide and our healer. Just ask for his grace to give you the strength to do it on your own. I will be praying for you and God Bless You. Maybe gastric bypass is an option in the future.

Hello, well I was banded on Tuesday and am on liquids also. I lost 16 lbs pre-op on them so I know how you feel they are getting quite old. I would consult your md before trying any other excercise besides walking, you wouldn't want to put a strain on the band and cause it to slip. Good luck to you.

Hello fellow christian bandsters, I am so grateful for this website and the choice to change what I have previously let go--my weight. I feel as though God has given me an open door to gaining control of my obsession with food. My banding is in 4 days and though I am excited, I'm not nervous because I know he watches over me. Hello and thank you to all the Ohio banders. I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Northrup in Cincinnati in 1 week. Have lost 9 lbs on the pre-op diet so far but its a killer. Anyone here have this doctor? I am so looking forward to this journey, but these websites have sure been an encouragement and can help through the rough times.

Hi, am so glad this website is here. Almost 1 week down and its getting easier with the liquid protein shakes but I'm still hungry at times. Good luck to all of you and the 23rd of March is approaching quickly!!!!!
