So I had to go to Whole Foods for one of my students. He's allergic to most foods! When there I always pick up a thing or two for myself. Today's purchase was a $5 sliver of cheese called something "robust". I like a strong cheese but this was off the chain, robust! More like rancid. Ha! I got some smoke salmon, a new tea, and greek yogurt too. I love whole foods. I need to rob a bank so I can afford to buy all my food there.

Hot Dog! That would be amazing! I'm eager for everyone's developing news. You're jobs, B's move, JC's reentry into our world. And yes, I said, "hot dog", I am a dork.

I know we don't already have enough to do but I want to do a holiday exchange with you all. Secret Santa sort of thing. I know money is tight, but isn't fun to get stuff in the mail? We can flesh this out more if you're interested....

I love dykie PE teachers. They make my little heart flutter. I'm not a huge HP fan, but the DD is just getting turned on to the series, so I'm sure we'll be coming into it. (I've seen the movies, or most of them....but see, not a huge fan.) My weekend was BORING. I had huge papers to write.

I just bought my halloween goodies for trick or treat night. Individual packs of pretzels. I suck, but whatever, there's enough sugar in kids' lives. My DD certainly gets plenty.

I'm having a shit ass day. I walked in to a big ass baby crying because he agreed to work overtime and resents his coworker. She's in the hospital... Other dumb fucks have committed me to stuff I have little time to do. And the produce company didn't see my order for pumpkins and cider. "Do you really need it?" No, we're just a school having a freaking Halloween part for 150 kids. Yes, I need it. Ugh.

HP I was overcome with jealousy so I went on and ordered one. It's due to arrive in Ohio on Friday. I can't wait.

You know I hadn't really thought about that...Isn't there tacit permission when a student enrolls at a school and the school uses the services? If turnitin was selling the works or I were writing something that I could later not publish because it had been posted to that site I'd take acception... Really I'm sorry to hyjack the thread, but I'd really like to discuss this futher with you. Maybe via email? or send me some links. I feel like a dumbass, and I hate that feeling. But frankly, I'm so focused on doing the tasks at hand to get my degree, I don't quite have the energy for a riotious debate with my instructors. heheheh...but I like being versed. Thanks.

Oh, did I make it sound like it's optional? Oh,no, no. The teachers pick your papers up there, or check on them there if they give you the option to correct after turning it in at the site. It's REQUIRED.

ZZ, give us a link girl. We want to see too, but it's way too hard to track down your pictures after we've written an 8 page paper. BG, the bitch is done. I've turned it into turnitin.com. Was that around when you were in school a few years back? If not or for the others, what it is a website many high schools and universities use where students turn in papers and they review the letter combinations against their ever growing data base to see how much of what you've written has been submitted before. Typically my resources, quotes, and a few word combos of come back as seen before but never anything frightening...but it's to stop plagiarism. Cool for me because I'd never plagiarize but it would suck if you weren’t up for writing.

Wow a monthly dinner menu planned? That's amazing. I don't know what I'll be eating today, let alone tomorrow. But you have a family and it's just me or just me and Z half the time. I cook, and not go out to eat, but it's usally decided about 10 minutes before I start. You're my hero on so many levels. Good luck with matching up schedules with DH.

Stacy, If I were there I'd take your ass to the store to get those jeans. I'd jump and scream with you too when they fit, because you know that they will! Go and get yourself some damn clothes! Before you know it, you'll be sliding into 12s.

Funny, I'm not scared of gaining weight back. I just think it will never happen. It just won't. Even as I sit here not moving off the freaking same few numbers on the scale for two weeks I think well, this is as bad as it will get. I won't gain. The band won't let me. Now if I got insane and tried to actively gain, the band couldn't stop me I suppose. But I don't see that happening. But I would be terrified if something happened to my band. I don't think I'd be able to live a normal weight life without it.

BG Do you plan, like write out your food daily before you eat? Or do you just know that you're going to keep it to a certain calorie level for the day?

My addiction to this site is horrible. Not being able to get on nearly killed me.

I'm off to the gym then to have too many drinks with some old friends. TGIF people. XO
