The thing is the kid keeps asking for living things...like kittens, puppies, fish and birds... Momma is not down with living critters right now. She got a kitten at the other mother's house last Christmas. I don't want that to be a precedent, well maybe she'll get a betta fish.

It's true, Zoe is more of a buckeye than I'll ever be. Damn indoctrinating school system. Her after school program had a "Beat Michigan" party! She's in Kindergarten! All the kids were decked out in scarlet and grey. I don't even own a freaking t-shirt! Nor do I want one. Funny story, Alison is not an Ohio or MI fan being from IL, but I bought her a buckeye shirt as a lark early on. We went to Florida, and she decided to wear the shirt...more strangers talked to her about Ohio and the Buckeyes that one day than all the other days combined! She played like she was a big fan and shit too. I was amused. So maybe that's not as funny for you as it was for me.... Guess who has only bought her child one gift as of right now??? And that's because the webkinz was by the register when I was buying myself something. I suck I tell you. Guess who is going to spend tonight and tomorrow shopping?

WII is also called a Wii or WEE, it's a new gaming system out on the market and a very hot item under the christmas tree. Ackmaui, can you call them about switching you to mushies, considering the time frame? -
BG- You're funny. I can't say that I bleed scarlet and grey, aside from I really do bleed scarlet. I would consider living in MI if my daughter could come with me....

oh, now I remeber. That was the back yard...my old brain got stuck thinking "front" yard..... That was a miserable, whew, I have tears in my eyes thinking about it, day. So glad to revisit that! Oh, I envy your flipping skills. I can't repair my own home...

TX Sorry about the dealing with potential change. It rattles me as well. The off shore work has got to be nuts. Wow 261 that leaves him only at home 100 days ish. That's rough on a person I'm sure. Have we covered this? What do you do for employment? Are you a SAHM? I think you might be remembering wrong...I don't have much of a front yard to tumble into. My front steps hit the sidewalk, then theres a strip of grass then the brick street. It's an old neighborhood. The back yard is deep for the area about 75 feet but I can't recall flying...That's not to say it didn't happen, because I could easily be forgetting. I'm like that! B I'm in food hell. There are cookies up to my elbows and I have to go and pick up 13 dozen donuts for our X-mas pagent tonight. We are having a surprise bridal shower for a friend for which I made the cake and I've got cupcakes to take to the kiddo's school party tomorrow. I don't think I've eaten a vegetable in week. They just get stuck and I'm not down with magic bulleting them like I need to. This shit sucks. Just saying.

Who Has Lost Over 100 Pounds?!?!
OH Juli replied to Rockin' Robyn's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Rock on Grace! You are speaking the truth! -
Thanks Mrs. H. I hope and dream that I'll see my goal next year. The weight loss is slowing though to about 5 pounds a month....
-
D, I know what you mean about setting goals. My ticker is set a bit lower than what I'll call my offical goal, because I'm going to need PS to see that number, I think. I'm putting 145 as my stability number so I can get the stomach ass removed more quickly. I have to maintain my weight for 6 months for insurance to pay... Has anyone else on here thought about PS?

You know BG, you could live closer. And really on mapquest we're less than 200 from each other.
-
Oh, and I was HP's SS. Who was mine?! Don't answer that. I like the surprise of not knowing...well okay, if I don't get my SS by the new year then tell me who you are so I can pester you personally.

TX, I am sore today. I ran nearly the entire 45 minutes of my almost 3 miles. I am not going to exercise today because I just can't...but I think the flyer was BG. I used to fall down often, but not recently (knock on wood). I have to say I'm jealous of how close you and B live to each other! I wish I lived closer to one of you guys. XO.

Mrs H. Congratulations on being more than half wayt there!!!!!!!Great accomplishment!!!! You know not to let the numbers control your mood. Easier said than done I realize, but let me say it again... And yeah, I have a spring in my step when the scale moves down and I pout when it holds steady or moves up a pound or two...but really look how far you've come in 2007. Don't let three little pounds color just how successful you are. XO. J

My hamstrings are so achy. Yesterday I met with Aron the trainer and I was talking about how I'm not happy with the routine mostly because I'm afraid my form is bad so I get anxious about it all... So we worked on form. Deadlifts, I can do um I'm at 60 pounds. I can't wait to get to 100. Renegade Rows, planked out, slow and not twisting, I'm on it! I feel it all over my aching little body and that's wonderful. But what's more exciting is I'm happy to be doing the routine, not full of dread. Now could someone please take the biscuits and gravy out of my hand?! I tell you I'm a junky working in a drug store working in this damn cafeteria. UGH!

My fills are done on an empty stomach, so first thing in the morning is when I schedule them.... I just take it easy with mushies for the day and the day after.

counseling is important. I'd not give up the band just yet, but you've got something serious going on and need to address that. In the mean time try to get some real nutrition in you.... Sorry I don't have more to add.

Dear Juli, Thanks for putting your health first this past year. Thanks for making hard choices about what to eat and how to work out. Thanks for doing the research and really incorperating fitness and wellness into your daily living. Also, Juli thanks for seeking out those people who support you and keeping them close. It's the ones who say all the right things you need to be near. I know it's a small thing, but I'll do my part in regulating your systems, keeping the heart beating and the lungs breathing and I'll also give you some flexibility and stamina you never knew you had. I'll put a little wiggle in your step, you know just cuz, as a little bonus, because all of this work has me looking better and feeling better than I have in years. I'm looking forward to 2008 because I know it is only going to get better. Appreciatively, Your Body

How cute is that? At nearly three Zoe took red lipstick and colored her entire body, legs, palms, chest, then the carpet and proceeded to walk up the stairs holding on to the wall for stability to show me how beautiful she was! It looked like a scene from a crime. I was so horrified I didn't take pictures. The lipstick eventually came out of the carpet, and Zoe was stained for a good week. Cute. BTW, save your letter to scrap! Too adorable.

BG, Lifetime fitnesses are ALL OVER the place around here, but not in the city proper, near the university, where I live and work. You need to migrate toward the 'burbs to get to them. I'm so not interested in that. But there's spinning at noon everyday and I could hit that a few times a week during my lunch... The idea of dragging my bike to a spinning class has potential, I heard that they happen at the LBS around town. I'll have to check into that. Thanks for the feedback.

I called... It's $35 a month for a year's contract. It's $70 a month non contract. Do I want to sign up? Oh dear.......$70 is a chunk more...would I use it for a whole year? They've got a week's trial too...I guess I'm going to try it for a week and see how it feels.
