Yeah, I think that's the point. Don't eat the crap-ola so you can lose the weight. I'm ashamed of myself. Actually that's in the past. It's all about the future. Right?
-
] B- God love ya, I think you might be a little OCD. :)

I've recommitted to tracking my calories on apex. I've not done that in a good two weeks...it's time to get serious again.

kettlebells? How long to wait on weight training?
OH Juli replied to Jennifer08's topic in Fitness & Exercise
I love kettlebells! My doctor had me weight 6 weeks before I could do any ANY weight training. I could do cardio after 2 weeks, but I wasn't to strain my core. -
I want to joke and say get a new bra! But you can look up obliques...things like over head pull downs will work your back. Curls with dumb bells are great bicep exercises. Push ups will do both at once. Those stink but are fantastic!

Exercise is About Your Health Not Your Weight

SequioaHealth is shopping for clients. My advice is to leave 'um alone. -
Did losing weight make you look older?
OH Juli replied to BobbieDoll's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I see my wrinkles more, but you'll have that. I don't look older, I just don't look like I'm 20, like I looked when I was this weight last time. I am older. However I look younger and act younger and feel younger 100+ pounds lighter. The difference in me from age 38 to 39 is amazing. I'll take a few wrinkles any day. -
You know that was one I had last year, to unclutter my world. I picked an area a month. Like kitchen cabinets, basement shelves, closets.... It worked like a charm for the first 6 months, I need to put that back on my list!

Damn, That's something else. I'm so sorry that's what you have to deal with. I think I'll take stock again in my family and count my blessings. I hope you and your kids still managed to have good holiday.

Hi peeps B, Santa was very good to Zoe. She was adorable, wanting to play with each thing before opening the next one. The only sad part is that this is the first year the EX and I didn't spend Christmas morning together with Zoe sharing the experience. I know I'm spoiled in that we broke up 5 years ago, but we still carted all the gifts to one house and had breakfast and gift opening together. However, the EX has a serious GF and they started their own new tradition this year. I can't blame them and I wouldn't be sore about it aside from the fact my GF wasn't able to be with us...so it was just me and Z alone for an hour or two until my ENTIRE family showed up for X-mas dinner. They were fun and the food went home with everyone so there's little to tempt me at home. We always play cards and laugh a lot so don't let the above paragraphs make you think I was moping all day yesterday. I wasn't. As for Alison, Zoe and I are going to her house this weekend/for New Year's Day. I'm hoping we get a visit in with BG somehow. She lives kinda between my house and Alison's. (BG, how's your Sunday looking??? We could come to you too.) Whew. I'm back at work therefore I can fart around on here more. It's a shame when you have to go to work so you can chill.

Hidy Ho there my Marchie buddies! Merry Christmas. Diana, Don't worry about what other people do or don't do. I can assure this is an individual journey with lots of support from our pals, but it is NOT a competition. Glad you found us. FYI, come January first you'll see this thread stop and there will be a new one for the month... XOXOXOXOX

Happy Christmas to you all as well!!! Want a fantasic holiday! Love to you all! -
Mine is going to be getting my house in order to sell. School, weight loss, being a momma, being a sweetie, being a good daughter/sister is all covered. I feel like I'm honing myself, not making giant changes.

hi JJ... It has been super quiet in this here parts. I'm sure we'll pick up the conversation soon..

Hello my people!!!!!!! Whew, I'm there's so much to read! JC, I'm happy to see your smiling avatar on the pages again. Very nice update. HP and B, new clothing makes a person feel fantastic and I too was sporting some new jeans; size 18s!!!!!! One year ago I was in 30s! So Woo Freaking hoo. As for biking in December, I really do hate you guys. But you know we get moderate summers and will be able to bike when you are dealing with 100+ degree days. (It's really of little consiquence but I need to feel there's some equality.) I'm happy the food part of the holidays are over. New Year's isn't going to be a giant drink fest this year, so I believe that I can settle down and get back to eating well tomorrow. I cooked so much yesterday and today...but sent most of it home with my siblings... Merry Christmas to everyong. Thanks for your gifts of friendship these last many months. I am richer for knowing you all. HO HO HO

OMG! There's a dent in my stomach? Anyone else?
OH Juli replied to Anyalee's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums

I've been bad about tracking my calories lately. I'll do better. I wear the bugg every day and rare is it that I don't hit my 2700 burned daily. Typically it's over 3000. I had it set there but was stressing to much so I moved it down. I also have it set to buzz me a few times a day to remind me to move my keester if I'm sitting too long.

My Christmas is spent with my kid in bits here and there. My ex works in a hospital so we flex the schedule to accomodate that and different family obligations. I have my daughter for most of Monday but in the evening she goes with the ex for her giant Italian family thing. She'll open up Christmas there on the 25th. At noon she'll come to me and see what Santa left at my house. At 2pm my sibs, their significant others, their children and thier childrens' SOs, plus my mom, her husband, and his mother will be there. Add to that I have two single good friends who will also join us for dinner...so I have a full house. I'm making fancy food, which should keep me busy enough to keep me from boo hooing too much about being with out either of my babies. The other one being my sweetheart who is having her entire family at her house 284 miles away. The long distance relationship really blows a few times a year and right now is one of those times. But she's so excited to have everyone to her house I can't help but be excited for her...and me and DD are going up for New Year's. Anyway that's what I am doing.

Stefanie, You are the best freaking Secret Santa EVER! It arrived today, and wow is all I've got to say! Thank you so much. To brag about the goodies, I got some great smelling candles, lube for the bike, tire wrench things (I know how to use them, but don't know what they are called.) There was hand lotion and lip plumper/gloss (which I love!) and the requested diamonds in a matching earring and necklace set. Again TX, it was all fantastic. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

I've been doing something similar on my own. I'm now like week 6. I can walk 2 min, run 8 min, walk 2, run 8, walk 2 run 8. I started with running 30 seconds out of every 2 minutes, I think that was back in October. A year ago I'd not have ran if a car was careening toward me, I'd just think, 'wow I'm going to do some damage that car!' So sign me up, I'll check in with ya. I'm shooting to run a 5K February 17th, but I'm in Ohio and it might be icy. I'll run in the cold but not the snow. Juli

As a queer momma raising my child in a seperate home from her other mother the studies I come across is that children do very well with two involved parents. It's better if they are in the same house but the involvement of the parents is the critical issue; gender is not relevant.

WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BG! Size 12 you fuckin' hot chica!

BG! I'm glad you love the ring. It's always fun to get surprises. As far as SS, better late than never I say!
