TammyJ Look at you nearly to goal!!!!!!!!!!! You will absolutely be there by your anniversary! Glad to see you dropping in.
-
I'll be there, promise! I do prefer afternoon to morning, but I'd be able to do either.
-
Looks like Zoe cracked her rib today. I'm waiting for my Ex to call with the results from the X-ray. Zoe jumped down some stairs and landed on an entertainment center. So ugh. Also, I tried on new bras and I've lost a cup size. You'd think I'd be happy, but somehow I'm just not. B Damn, that sucks all the way around. Glad poochy pie is on the mend. BG I nearly called you from Whole Foods to ask what's that soy beverage you were waxing about earlier, however I have Dan's number programed in my phone. I get to shop at WF for a kid I feed. He has serious food allergies so all his stuff comes from there. Later

I've become a wine drinker and I have to agree it gets me buzzed more quickly. I think it is due to weight loss, not being banded.
-
Just let me know the time and I'll hire a sitter. Woo Hoo, I'll get to meet you all!
-
Can you shower at the gym? You know at least she has an interest. K is gonna be a girlly girl!!! I was! Zoe is not. She isn't interested in much, my little flitterer. Actually looks like swimming is going to be her thing. Next year (she's scheduled to death with pre-school, regular-school and after school care) we're going to get involved in the area's swim team... I started scrapping 2005 last night and OMG, I forgot how she scalped herself because she wanted to be a boy with boy hair. We had 9 months of really horrible hair. Nap during her class.

And 12 pounds is a far cry from almost weighs less than you. Also when you consider I'm a half a foot shorter than you and no where near a size 12, you are itty bitty. But thanks for the thought.

Listen to you--Talking ass poundings... Sleep is for wimps. Who's dance class is tonight, yours or DD? And what are you doing between 3 and 4:30? One and half hours to shower and pick up kid can be shaved to 30 minutes. Why are you showereing? I see a nap in there. Not that I have to tell you but take tons of makeover/HM pictures. You can do a mini scrapbook of the day and DD will love it! Saturday looks like a good day to sleep. You'll be fine, get some caffiene unless you are decaffinated. And quit your bitchin'. I see someone who is busy because she is 1. putting her health and fitness first. 2. Surrounded by people she loves. 3. Living the hell out of her life. 4. Giving back some of that love. We all should be so lucky. And again, sleep is for wimps. And sure I'll take your shorts unless by the time I actually see you again I'm too small. Mailing them probably is a long shot.

JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift
OH Juli replied to JulieNYC's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I'll have a pouty, foot stomping, this is really sucky pity party for you, Julie. I've got your back. -
I'm going to be 40 April 15th. When is your birthday?

My measures aren't that far off. Funny most things like the granola I eat in my yogurt I always dip out of the bag with a 1/4 cup measurer. I looked at SparkPeople but I use the BodyBugg system for tracking. It does look like it provides more information than fitday.com. But I used the heck out of fitday, so I'm not knocking it! I typically eat 1200-1500 calories a day. There are days when I've worked out quite a bit or when I did long distance bike riding this past summer and fall that I HAD to eat more. If I didn't I'd wake up chewing on my pillow! (okay, that's an exaggeration, but you get my point.) Now that I'm running, yes running, 3 miles a day, 3 times a week I notice that same kind of hunger. I try to keep it healthy though. As for food combining I remember that being big in the vegetarian circles back in the early 80s. I haven't heard much about it since. I say do whatever works for you! Do you have reflux? Not to be redundant but I'm trying hard not to high fructose corn syrup. It's everywhere, but it's a cool process. I'm also moving toward eating more sustainably produced foods. But that's got a lot to do with the politics of how food is sold and transported...I'll save that for a later day. Any way, being mindful of lables ingredient lists is new and helpful for me. I've been reading nutrition lables forever, but not so much the ingredient lists. It helps me make better choices.

I thought my ears were burning! LOL. I'll try extra hard to make the next one. I want to meet you all as well.

TX if you go on rants and raves you see where he baited people with questions like "why do white women date black men" and other assholy things like that. Also if you read the first few pages he talks about his mad biking skills making the other men jealous because the ladies wanted to ride with him..that's if I remember correctly. It's not really worth varifying what I'm remembering. And as we all know, my memory is not very good. Fall? I fell?

Tyanna Everything gets easier the more you do it, so keep it up! I was thinking about using the local fitness club's free week trial for spinning classes before we head to Vegas so my ass isn't crying from the seat. We are supposed to do a 35 mile ride. My legs should be fine but my tushy will die. If so I need to do it tomorrow to get the full benefit of the free trial. It's the same place I was buggin' on a few weeks back. BG...I was going to suggest you pass those bike shorts on, but if they are like mine, there's no one who'd want to wear them. I love smaller clothing. You're a rock star.
-
Mrs H., Don't apologize for being chatty! Sounds like you and DD will have a great time!
-
I enjoy being a bycyling babe frankly. It kills me that the man who started this thread is a uber jackass to boot. And I don't typycally call people on this forum names, though I have strong opinons. I heart "wronger".
-
I just couldn't get away to go. I even bought a new pink sweater. Glad you all had a good time. Please let's try again. I'd love to meet everyone.
-
This is the bycyling thread, not the masterbating thread. Oh my god, you all kill me.
-
You are such a hedonist...I'm not surprised.

Does your DH or SO know how much you weigh?
OH Juli replied to cQQlgirl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
When I started dating my SO it was obvious that she made a lot more money than I and that I weighed a lot more than she. We talked about how the numbers didn't define us, that they were only decriptors. Like brown hair or green eyes. The deal was that when she learned my wieght I'd learn her income. To be honest I got tired of dancing around the numbers after being banded so I told her I didn't need to know what she made, but I weighed 260 at the time. More than 100 pounds over her. Since then I've learned what she earns and it is literally 4 times my income....bless her vacation paying heart. -
That is much better advice than I gave. BG you are my sugar-free hero.
-
White pants I wanted to say, that because of you I'm getting back to measuring my food. I think I'm accurate, but it will be good to know for certain. I love how we can encourage and influence each other in small ways like that. Thanks.
-
ZZ Take a teaspoon of granulated sugar and eat it. Do it twice if you must. It may very well take care of that sugar crave you have and it's not loaded with fat and other calories. That's the only suggestion I have. Juli

Sue, You're amazing! That's great. You'll hit that 100 pound goal to be sure! Bloo Eyes, I always call it, "My highest known weight" assuming it could and probably was higher. That was 338. Princess, You're just a little over a month out and doing really, really well! Congrats! Jess, About compliments, a while back a friend taught me a lesson. It went like this: Liz says to Juli, "You look really nice." Juli replies, "You're kidding, right?" or some such thing. Liz says, "The appropriate reply is 'Thank You'. Juli, embarassed, grumbles, "Thank You." Liz says, "Now that wasn't so hard, was it?" I walked away with the lesson learned. I try really hard not to be self depricating because no one wants to hear that and it's uglier than any kind of fat I might be lugging around. XO- J

The scale sounds great. I'm all down for as many gadgets as I can find in the name of the cause!
