I did cook healthy things...well the ribs weren't healthy, but they were protein that was soft and I didn't eat that much of them. I have another 4 meals all portioned out waiting for me. But holy crapola, you are indeed only 39 pounds from goal! You are amazing. I can't wait for before and after shots of you come February 6th!!!! BG I heart you quite a bit.

No you've got to buy the arm band and pay for the sight. Some people love it. I'm about finished with it. I'm fickle I guess.

I cooked all weekend, but the only vegetarian thing was a pot of split pea soup. I had mussels, chicken bratwerst and braised short ribs...The problem with going to Whole Foods is it makes me want to cook. Then I eat and it's a terrible cycle. I'm hungry like I don't know what and I can't seem to make it go away...I believe it's head hunger and I'm doing dumb shit like eating things I know I shouldn't (bread and sausage) then PBing. Who'd had thought 10 months later the head games would still continue? I'm thinking I need to go back to basics, write how hungry and full I feel when I eat and track it, but to become aware again. Well, Happy Monday everyone.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz That's freaking awesome! Great Job!

What Kacee said. No one beats you up as much or as well as yourself. Go, go, GO!!! You can write and tell us how the call went tomorrow. The offices should be open. Holidays are over.... XO

Instead of saying, "What part of 'I don't want anything to drink' don't you understand, dumbass?" you might just order a glass of Water and put it out of reach. I was a huge drinker, with a straw, but I don't put the straw in the drink and I drink the water. Often times a table mate drinks my water or I clean my kid's face with the napkin dipped in it. Really aren't there other issues out there to keep you up at night? That server isn't out there to sabotage your success. They are people doing a really hard job with out much respect. I know every tactic we have helps but this is one of those pick your battles times.

Okay, My flight gets in around 2 on Friday. Vegaswildflower, you still game? Everyone else has fallen off the planet apparently. I'm still planning on having a rockin' good time! Juli

Have fun on that trip. I go to Vegas on Friday...I'm stoked!

Oh my goodness... Shy daughters and ADD kiddos. My little girl is 6 and marches to her own drummer right now. She has very few friends at school, not because she's shy or because she is mean, but because she is overly huggy and touchy and wants to be in everyone's business all the time. She's not ADD but has SPD which is sensory processing disorder. She's a sensory seeker...and is too young to get social boundaries. So the other kids avoid her. UGH. She is still rather clueless, but soon I'm sure it will impact her self esteem. The good thing is she's very physical so steering her toward sports is something we are doing. But she has no fear. Think the TV show Jackass, but with a 6 year old girl. Don't you just want to protect them from the world? And Janine, don't apologize for writing...that's what we're here for. And if someone isn't interested then can move along to a different thread. XO

WTF people? Where's D, and HP..where the hell are the rest of you for that matter???? I know BG is catching up on sleep.... XO

Oatmeal is a fanstaic breakfast. It takes me a good 15 minutes to eat one packet of instant.

Just to add, my surgeon said "I can make your lose wieght with GB, with the lapband you are the one who will make you lose wieght." I told that to a friend of mine who's son is a surgeon and she said, "surgeons are all control freaks. Do what you think will work best for you." But what I heard and now believe is the part of the equation that differentiates the two is the individual's ability to give dieting and exercise one last final go. If you are exhausted and want to give over control to someone else GB is good. If you are so heavy that you are disabled and cannot move well, GB is a good choice. If you have other complications that you NEED to have addressed by losing weight quickly GB is a good choice. But you are young and your BMI isn't in the 50's. (mine was.) You should be able to hit the diet hard--and for the last time--And yes it's a diet, like you have to be mindful of how you eat, but it is forever so it's a change in framing the "how you eat" question, so it's not a diet...(I hope that's not really unclear) I'm guessing you can exercise, again the BMI is lowish and you are 33. You may need to take it slowly at first but... You have young kids and that consideration for Lapband should be the lower mortaility rate, not a 45 minute commute. So with that said, I'm not biased against GB, but it can be really wrong for some people and lapband can be really right.

Janine You can dip as low as 800 a day. Good luck with that though...I'm just too darn hungry to do it.

Angie, log in Polaris Shopping Place...that's the mall. Or log in "The Great Indoors" which will put you right next to the food court. It is right off of 71, before you get to the outer belt of 270. I can't wait to meet everyone.

Whitepants, PBing or PB's are what you descibed, that feeling of tightness, but where the food comes back up and out. It's not like a full regergitation (sp) because the food didn't hit the lower stomach and there isn't stomach acid involved. But it stands for Productive Burp. Typically you'll get some slime with it too, which is the body's way of trying to help the food move. It's super thick saliva. I have problems with eggs at times. Really I think it's because they are so soft we don't chewy them well enough. But they have a pretty tight structure, unless you are eating them sunnyside up and they are super runny. You might try adding cottage cheese for extra Protein and to keep them from cooking too hard, or just lay off the eggs until your restriction eases up a tad. I can eat more at night than in the morning which I believe is pretty common. Have a good weekend.

BG I was thinking about you this morning. I'm glad you all had a good time. B, Hope you have a nice ride. Today is my day off from exercise, I did a straight 6 days and I need to rest. XO everyone.
-
Very true TX, very true. I can exercise, it's the shit food I need to get rid of. And I'm not eating sugar, just sour cream and cheese! UGH!
-
I wrote you in my planner, with ink! I'll be there.
-
Yeah, I think those skills of yours which would land you a sugar someone would work better on a Daddy than a Momma. She's not willing to pay for the surgery, nor would I expect her to. So long as the sparkly jewelry keeps coming I'm not going to complain. But ugh about the skin. I've turned some kind of corner, perhaps it is the more than 60% loss from my highests known weight, where my skin is looking horrible. I know we talk about the stomach ass, now the 4th/armpit titties are killing me. My inner thighs are horrific too.
-
BG, You're doing fantastic with the weight loss! Rock on chica. Nothing like a vegetarian fart maker though, well vegans are worse! PS in November? That's wonderful. My insurance will cover the panni too, but I have to sit at a stable weight for 6 months before hand. For their purposes my goal weight is 145...I'll keep on losing after that I hope, but I'll go to the doctor's office with rocks in my pockets to make it look stable! Like you the rest will be on me. I have to get my legs and arms done. There's no question. I joke with Alison when ever gift giving time happens that I want plastic surgery
-
I say Polaris is probably a good bet. For consistency and ease of finding it and for Angie driving in from up north!

JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift
OH Juli replied to JulieNYC's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Drainage in your office? You've got to love NYC. Why wouldn't you call the nurse and have her do it? Are you trying to be Super Woman? By the way, when you get back to running, and I'm assuming you're not running yet, and if you listen to music get Alicia Key's As I Am CD. The song "Superwoman" is an amazing song to run to. It's inspiring. -
I'll PM ya TX, actually I'm a 38-D. I don't care who knows. I'd love some cheap bras. Let me know when you're going. I didn't lose a cup size, apparently. I did go from a 42 to a 38 though. I started at a 44. You all want to know something ironic, really ironic not like sunshine on a rainy or a free meal when you've already paid? 5 years ago I lost about 90 from my all time high of 338 so I was around 250 and I got a breast reduction. My tatas were HUGE, now they're just regular. Well I'm really thinking that my breasts are going to shrink to nothing by the time I get to goal and I'm thinking augmentation may be in my future. Reduced breasts to implants, that's ironic. And thanks for the well wishes for Zoe. I really appreciate your kind words. She's going to milk the injury to be sure, but who wouldn't?
-
Woo Hoo Zoe isn't broken, just bruised. Do I get hard core babe status for running in the rain? It wasn't my plan but I got rained on while running. It was cold and miserable. My day has gone from blah to blah to the tenth power. I'm resisting the urge to go buy bras,(I tried some on earlier but no purchasing)...I just paid bills and there's really not money for new stuff, but damn! Is the Justificaiton Squad out there? Can you help me just go and do it?
