Make 33 has a great strategy. Find out who in your college town is supported by your insurance and never see that doctor you saw again. There are many ways to solve a problem. Don't give up!!!

To piggy back on the other comments. Put that behavior behind you and do as you are told. You have the rest of your life to eat solid foods. This is just a small window of time. Get some perspective on the situation. And chances are you are fine. Worrying about goofing isn't going to make it better, but behaving right will keep you from causing yourself more stress...worrying stress AND stress on my stomach. Good luck.

Hopping along, like the little froggie on it! Thanks for the nod. I've recently recommitted to doing this right. It's such a struggle, but I'm back on track!

Hi, I've gotten back to basics. I'm eating hot cereal for breakfast, either oatmeal or cream of wheat, fish at lunch with a vegetable, some protein at dinner with a vegetable and maybe a little carb and only fruit as snacks between meals. I feel great. I've eaten bananas, pears, apples and canned peaches in the last few days. I forgot how much I adore fruit. My calories are stickint to about 1300 a day. There's oil on my fish and still a little cream in my coffee, but golly it's good to see the scale move. I've just realized that I've not had a day off from exercising since last week Monday so today is a rest day. Happy, happy, happy.

Sorry you're sick LJM. I'll poke you on Friday to get you moving again. I'm taking today off because I just looked at my journal and I've not missed a day's exercise since the 21st. My body needs a rest day. I'll be on here tomorrow though talking junk about my intense workout! :frown:

Talking Muddy Buddy, how do you train for that? Where do you find things to climb and scooting on your belly??? I'm shooting for a 10K this spring/early summer...but biking might get in the way of that. Well, about your 1/2 marathon...where are you running now? Indoors, in front of a TV? Are you able to watch something you like? How long do you run at one time? I know this is the bicyling thread, but tell me about how you run. Oh and to talk biking, the GF is looking at a road bike that's super fancy. I'm so jealous I could spit.

Oh, I know what you mean about hating running. I hate this cross fit thing the trainer had me doing. When left to my own to devices I chose not to work out other than doing it! You know that I really must have hated it. Because I love working out! I say stop running. It's like brussell (sp and I'm not looking it up) sprouts...no matter how you cook them, I'm going to think they taste like shit. I just don't like them. And there's plenty enough other things out there to eat that I don't have to eat them. So drop the running and find something else. If you not enjoying yourself what's the point?

What plastic surgery? I mean I know it was an idea, but I didn't realize you had a date...do you have insurance coverage? You'll be living at goal this summer, you just know it. With the warm weather eventually coming you'll be out riding that bike and getting super skinny!

I was noticing that little number too. Don't you have an anniversary coming up??? February 6th????
-
I've got my fingers crossed for you! Can't wait to meet everyone on the 9th!!!

Now if you can say that you absolutely a big deal instead of "kind of" one...That would be impressive. I absolutely am the biggest deal. :rolleyes2:

That's so interesting!!! I got a mammogram about 5 months ago because my breast tissue was hurting. (I had a reduction years ago and the change in carrying my weight differently, due to weight loss caused some odd new tugging on a scar.) But I was so happy to have the mammogram done, just to be sure things were good. I'll track my moods with my weight loss...very interesting. -
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I love a girl in scrubs... I'm wearing my uniform of a blue polo and jeans. I hope you get the job if it's what you want. 10G is a nice difference.
-
What are you wearing? That sounds creepy...but just interested. I have such a new found interest in clothing!!!! Hope they offer you lots of money. BTW, I'm only 6 pounds from ONEDERLAND, and I'm busting ass to see it. I thought I'd share so you all can encourage me.

LJM, Are you going to come here and post daily what you're doing? If so, yesterday I did my 3 miles in 39 minutes. I ran .5 at my regular pace of 4.6, kicked it up to 5.0 for two tenths of a mile than slowed down to a pace fo 4.0 for one tenth...and did it all over again until I got to three miles. I sweated up a strom! Today is a strength training day. I'll add 30 minutes of cardio at the end. Probably 15 minutes of the stair master and 15 minutes on the elliptical. Rock on.

I'm taking a Zumba class with a bunch of youngins from work on Monday. I'm older and heavier than any of them, but I've got enthusiasm! And I can shake this booty of mine!

Hi Sadie. Good luck with everything. Check back often. We'll be here for you and the GF. -
Ah Freedom. I know what you mean. Mine too is cushy. But there comes a point in time where you want to challenged with work. I'm not there yet but it's festering. HA! As a side note, I wasn't a big user of the emoticons but I miss how they used to be easily accessed.

Good morning chicas. Glad ZZ cleared up the S/M question for you BG. Aren't you the interviewing girl?! So many offers? I'm jealous. I want a new job. But alas, I'll hang out here until the MBA and plastic surgery are done. (GREAT insurance with the state job.) And the ability to do homework when my work is finished...makes it a good fit for the moment..but egads, I want out. Otherwise, life is good!

Before it was bycyling now it' is bicyling it should be bicycling. Two C's. But it's funny irregardlessly. TX- It's so easy to get comfortable, especially when you've been successful. I don't know any magic motivational things to say...But look at you 50% down and 50% to go!!!! Kick that last 50's ass!
-
That's funny as hell. It's like stupid twice. But I'm going to cling to the Ohio Bycyling Babe for as long as I can tolerate it.
-
I just got DVR and have been watching Family Guy non-stop. I love South Park too. I swear they are the two most socially relivant show in the media.

TKT You know you can start doing things that will have you in the best possible place for your surgery in March. I'm a Marchie too, had my surgery in 2007. I spent January and February making baby steps...It didn't get my surgery to me any quicker but I felt like I was doing something toward my goal. Just a thought. We're glad to have you. -
Why Am I Freaking Out ? Ideas to Help me?
OH Juli replied to lepez's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Get thee to a mental health professional. I did and it's been a fantastic help. It's helped me figure out food's role in my life and helped me stop making excuses about how I lived. Weight loss is about behavior and cognative thinking. The band helps with the physical part but the rest is in your head. You've hit upon that the head piece needs a little tinkering. Perhaps it's time. -
B and BG and TX and JC and D and HP and ZZ People where the hell are you? Come on BG, you've got to be around. What's up????????????
