How to eat at restaurants, negotiating holiday foods, sharing how an individual overcame a specific obstical, discuss who is a support who is a barrier, visualize what success will look like, setting short term and stretch goals...these are what I think about. Look at some old Weight Watcher ideas.

I can't say I've read every post, but has anyone asked what about the big droopy mons? I'm down more than 100 pounds and the mons is going to need be lifted with plastic surgery when the tummy gets tucked... has anyone addressed this with the waxer? Or do you just put your goods out there to be waxed and let them deal with the saggy texture of the skin with out comment?

I'm writing non-stop about Starbucks for my MBA degree. They'll train you. It's a great company. It will certainly be a different pace from teaching. Enjoy!

Everyone has hit everything as far as food goes. 30 minutes a day of walking isn't going to get you to your goal. Change your exercise routine every 4 weeks. Make goals that stretch you. Walk faster, walk on incline, get a jump rope, shoot for 45 minutes, run, cycle, weight train. If you want different results you need to act differently. Good luck.

Oh should I post, or should I just pass this by....the decisions, the decisions... Oh wait, that's my right, I can post. I can write about anything that moves me because wait, now why? Oh yeah the Constitution says I can. Something about the freedom of speech. Crazy founding fathers what were they thinking? Don't like it, don't read it. Very simple.

I rode my bike today. It was colder than I expected because the sun was shining! I got flurried upon! Snow! So woo hoo, I got a few miles on me! And I didn't fall down. C- Congrats on being Cancer Free! That's fantastic. Do you have a surgery date set in stone now? Is it the 1st or the 10th? Those were the two possible, right? Zoe is back in school this week, but I'm happily dealing with an empty work place. I hope everyone is fine.

I'm probably not going to be any help, but just hit subscribe to podcasts and it automatically downloads to my iTunes account. When I recharge it uploads the newest podcasts. But I go to podcasts via iTunes site, not from other sites on the web. Probably why I don't have issues.

CNN just sucked me in. Well, here's to the system doing as it should. I feel bad for his wife and kids.

JC- I was told I'd probably have to take a B12 supliment. In pill form. They have it as a sublingual (under the tongue) for RnYs since they'd not absorb it. Why don't you look at those options before committing to giving yourself shots? My X's grandmother used to do shots of B12 and she thought of herself as Wonder Woman afterward, like they gave her a huge energy boost. I don't know if it was in her head or not, but that's my only experience with them. HTH. Good luck with the shoes. Mine are comfy but more imporatantly they match my bike.

I love it! HP and ZZ racing to see who see's minus 100 first! You go girls! Rock on!
-
Nikki, I can't tell you what to buy, but I can encourage you! You can lose those pounds and get into ONE-derland, and you will! You've got the right attitude. No more excuses! Few calories in and more burned! Rock on Chica!

Oh I love data, and would like to see a comprehensive study. But really, when it comes to crunch time it's the individual and their committment to doing what they want to do. Some people are pleased be less fat than they were without the band. Some people perfer never to have to exercise and are willing give up thoughts of losing those last 20 pounds. Some want to be curvy or whatever... It's what you want.

Do you remember Stats? Not worrying about the term "GOAL" if there are a group of people who get the same procedure they are going to fall into the bell curve somewhere. Having met some lapbanders I find it perfectly resonable based on their behavior, not following sound advice, that they will be in the majority and only lose 50-60% of their weight. I decided when I was told that was the average that I was going to be not one but two standard diveations from the norm and see my goal weight. I'm not there yet, but to date, I'm doing pretty well. When I see badly behaving bandsters I figure someone needs to pad the numbers, so I don't lecture. So the question is, are you going to be average or above average? You've are capable of putting all excuses aside and seeing your goal weight. You've just got to decide that's what you are going to do. Yes, it's that simple. And for a refresher. Here's a bell curve:

I'm in school full time and work full time. But I'm a non traditional student, being 40 and all. It's about setting priorities, Allison. If you want this bad enough to get cut open and poked around inside you'll find ways to make it work. Good Luck! I'd check out the 20-somethings pages for people with similar life situations as yours too.

Family gone, Paper done. Going to sleep. I hope to ride tomorrow after work. It was nice enough to ride this afternoon, but that whole having a house full of people I couldn't get out! Boo Hoo. This has been a very stressful weekend. I'm glad it's over. Come on MONDAY!!!!
-
The kid's candy coma is starting!!! She woke me up at 7 to see if the Easter bunny had arrived! Too cute! I'm trying to write a paper, cook for family and clean all at the same time. I'm stressed! And ever so slightly excited about seeing my people. My brother is supposed to do some work on the house while he is here too. Ack, must........ finish .........the......... paper. Thanks for the break!

BP I was going to say I was jealous of your weather but you had to do yard work in March and that's horrible!!!!!!!! I hate yard work with a passion. Okay though, I am jealous of your ability to ride. Good lesson about fixing the flat. I keep a tube with me, but I don't have a pump on my bike. Fat lot of good that will do me, eh? I typically ride close to my house if I'm solo and I ride with a group if I'm far from home... HP You know I love the Giant! Sweet bike. Tell John Congrats!

Thanks renew, I've been hollering about it on my regular pages on here, I must have got it out of my system!!! I am very glad to see the other side of 200. I've not been this weight in my adult life. Amazing! -
HP How can we in states that are side by side but you have reasonable weather and I do not? That's not fair! I'm pouting like Zoe! I'm going to stomp my foot too!!! High 5 to John for his new bike. That's awesome!
-
Whos, That's fantastic! There's that line, like 200 for me, that I've just not seen in a long, long time. It's a great feeling! You should be proud. And yes sir, keep your eye on the prize and you'll be under 200 very soon! Congratulations!!!!

I'm at 199. That makes minus 2 -
This website sucks now. I wrote a long entry, a little bit of something for everyone and it never landed. Annoyed!

Hi Gang. You all are killing me with the Coach purse discussion. The only purse I own is a coach and it's more like a big bag. However, I've been thinking about carrying a purse again...so of course it's got to be a coach...we'll see...I'm feeling inspired. Onederland is pretty awsome. Funny to see the other side of 200, which I've never seen in my adult life. I'm thrilled. JC, I thought most pedal systems could be hooked on to any cycling shoe. I have Nikes. Stef, you're diabetic? Give the details. BG, your snow flurried down here for a few hours today but nothing stuck.
