BG and D How's the running going? D and B I finally got the post office today. Your stuff is coming. JC How's the fill? HP How you doing?

I'm on the look out for some dirty boxing gym to go train at. I want to have a boxer's body. Talk about cut! What's the name of the gym you joined? Think of all the time you'll have to work out now that your schedule is going to change!

I don't have any real reason to have an opinion, but I'm going to have one anyway. You need to recover from your pregnancy then have this surgery. Getting the lapband installed is serious business and you'll be out of it for a bit. Caring for a newborn and recovering from the surgery don't seem like a logical mix. What's your rush? Enjoy your new baby, give it a few months then pursue the band. Just one girl's opinion.

Cool. Spinning is harder than hell. You go girl. Renee, the evil 120 pound, 50 year old trainer put me through some paces today. We are attempting to find then sculpt my abs, so that when I get plastic surgery they will be identifiable. JC, dude, you're a mess. I can't wait to see the pictures. Have one last bight of bread because it's going to be a while. HP, I think the winter was made for gym memberships. When it's yucky outside you can still go there and get your sweat on.

I'm super busy at work...but not so much I can't check in here. I'm working out with the trainer today. I'll be sure to belly ache about that tomorrow, but I'm excited for the challenge. Hope everyone is well!

I'm glad that made you laugh, instead of pissing you off. You are such a good mom I could see you having more though. But sounds like you're done.
-
Are you pregnant?

btw, JULI GOT AN A IN HER FINANCE CLASS! And she didn't think that was going to happen!

That looks amazing. I want a vacation. Are you going to do the tour?

I hear crickets....we've been very quiet today.

Flipper you've got that right, I'm the hotel staying anti-camping lesbian. I'm not alone... The camping part if fine, even if I do have to put on shoes in the middle of the night to pee, but the packing and lugging all the stuff is not my idea of fun. I don't see me camping again unless it's in a well equipped cabin... Juli the anti camping diva lesbian. -

Caresa, Welcome. You'll be just fine. It's cool that your partner has the band. It seems that couples tend to do well together with it. Three months is pretty quick from consultation to banding. It took me 14. If you are really concerned with the emotional part take yourself to a therapist. I did and it was the best choice I could have made. I still see her. Keep us posted. And of course we're interested in what you write. We wouldn't be on this board if we weren't. -
Oh and thanks for the pound loss note. I'm behind for the month and trying to kick things into higher gear. I hope to drop globs of fat in the next week or so. I hope, I hope, I hope.

D, I realized I was supposed to call you on Saturday and I didn't. I'm sorry. I was a bit frazzeled before the ride, I forgot my phone charger and for real acting like a big ditz. Sorry.

Why is it so hard for us to take compliments?! I had a friend say, "You're pretty." I replied,"Not really." She said, "The right thing to say is 'Thank You'." I said sheepishly, like a scolded child, "Thank You." She smiled and said, "Now, was that so hard?!" Lesson learned! I do that all the time now with others.

Vomiting happens I know. But what was different is that before at the first sign I'd throw up once, wait an hour do it again and maybe an hour later once more. (I'm talking stomach flu here.) Since being banded at hour one I'd feel ill but not produce anything at hour 2 the same thing; no vomit, I'd feel worse. At hour three I violently spilled the entire contents of my stomach. Sex happened when it felt better than it hurt. About the end of week 2. My daughter was 5 and I told her leading up the surgery that I wasn't going to be able to carry her. I gave her extra pick ups and we had a ceremonious one last carry. She got it later when I said, "remember I can't carry you now?" The last super thing held no appeal for me because I knew and now KNOW that there isn't a thing out there I can't put in my mouth now. So I just tried to get the nutrition I needed. As for your insurance and self pay questions, I'm clueless. And I'd not stick my stuff on my insurance's website. If you need to track you info, create a word document or something and do it that way. Just one girl's opinion.

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful! Really, I'm average and I'm sure you're average...most people are. And don't knock the blah, blah, blah of feeling better and moving more comfortably in your body. That gives you confidence and that is sexy.

Ground Up Bologna is fantatic in its awesomeness. I think it would do well between two slices a floppy white bread too. That would be an excellent squishy sandwich.

<p>DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD The shirts didn't work out...No one brought and iron and then I the Uber Dumbass got the iron-ons all wet, and seeing that they are ink jet, they ran and got ruined. I gave mine to BG because she's the T-shirt slut. I'll be dropping yours off in the mail tomorrow still though. Yeah, like HP said we parted ways about half way through, we just have different styles of riding. But that we were there together at the beginning and at the end to woot woot each other is what's important. HP- Leslee was a sweetheart, really. Zoe is no worse for all the sugar and the dirt comes off eventually, doesn't it? I scrubbed her down today but I swear her knees are still a mess. On that note, with all her falling off her bike and all the bug bites her legs look horrible! She has a well check in the morning and I'm mortified! My doc is going to think I beat her! I wish we'd gotten a group shot too! :cry Next time!!!

Think of it as a caves picture. Look at your rock hard legs! And your ass isn't big. Ask Alison. She called you tiny, remember. As for the shirt I thought that was intentional. I don't know what you kids today wear. JC, you are one hot dude. HP, are you home yet? D and B we missed you.

New Information from My Surgeon's Office (for new bandsters)
OH Juli replied to MissNilsa's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I sigh...and I know. If I eat beyond that sigh I hurt. It only takes a few times of pain or PBing to learn. negative reinforcement at its best. -
Only because I know you've posted other pictures on here do I post these now. Otherwise I'd be asking permission before hand.... These were before the ride yesterday. After the ride we were too damn tired to take pictures!
