Why do women have anal sex?
gamyj replied to Oregondaisy's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
ok this was the best tread I have ever read!! It was very educational. I myself have to pass on the anal sex. I don't think i can even wrap my brain around it. My husband is very well endowed and i was afraid to have regular sex with him when i saw it... so to have that in my rear... OH DEAR... HELL NO! I don't have anything against it, but it's just too scary a thought for me. More power to you gals who love it!! amy -

Should I be mad at my husband for looking at dirty pictures?
gamyj replied to Carrie_C's topic in The Gals' Room
I think that if you asked your husband not to do something and he does whatever it is ive asked him not to do then he has disrespected you as a wife. it doesn't matter if it has to do with porn or anything else for that matter.. id be mad for the deception and sneakiness. I hope all is well now for u! good luck amy -

gamyj replied to lapbandgirl2009's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

i agree with you missy. These are very trying times right now. I can't imagin having had no health insurance to help me get my band. I feel for those people who don't have the means or the insurance or whatever and not be able to have the oportunity to get control of their health. If i were them id probably vent too. I realize too that in this economy anyone could be hit and lose insurance or a job. its very scary and people need to be able to go where they feel safe and say whats on their minds. im glad that LBT is here to be an outlet for people. amy

Am I right to be angry and frustrated?
gamyj replied to A New Woman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
hi i was banded on march 20th of this year and i was told that I would not get a fill for 6 weeks post op. each doctor is different. I am sorry u are feeling ao frustrated. just know that many people gain when they start adding food to their diet, so if ur losing anything that is an extra bonus. Ive been told time and time again that this is the healing phase and any weight loss is awsome. Just stay focused on healing. good luck amy -
congrats!! I think everyone is different and im glad you found what works for you, and i think im on my way too!! good luck and continued sucess!!! amy P.S. don't listen to all the negative shit, people are jelous bc they're not getting ur results!

hi, i did go to the support groups before i was banded, but not since. I think maybe bandsters go to get questions answered? i really don't know, i do know that they have support groups just for people already banded. im not sure when the next support group meeting is, you can call the office they have all the dates and where they are. did u choose a doc yet? amy

i have cigna, and they made me wait 6 months to lose weight with a plan ie.. my doc put me on a diet and i had to weigh in once a month for 6 months. I barely lost anything, and i too had co morbidities. they finally aproved me and i was banded on march 20th of this year. with cigna, u have to jump through their hoops, be persistent and you'll get approved. they are total pains in the butt! good luck, you'll be approved, just stick with nagging them! amy
