Well we could rotate where we meet between Newmarket & Barrie. I could do lunch Tuesday and Thursday, dinner anytime. How many people are really interested and could get a rotation really started. Maria :thumbup:

Hi Damienne. I had my band done when i was sixty years old, the only regret i have is that i never knew about the lapband when i was younger, then i would have had a lot more years to enjoy my weight loss. I love the freedom of not having to shop in the larger size stores, been able to do more things with my grandsons, can walk upstairs with out getting out of breath. I just came back from a trip to Ireland my first since banding, and did not have to ask for a seat belt extension. YEA!! Good luck on your journey. Maria :biggrin:

Hi Mandi Mandi my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time in your life, moms and daughters always have a special bond, even though there are no tears now they will come, mine came at the cemetery, with my dad they came months after his death, and it was something i had seen on tv that triggered the crying binge. Right now you are still in shock, not quite believing what has happened, plus you have a lot to deal with making arrangements etc. Mandi again i am so sorry for your loss. I wish i could be with you to give you a proper hug, but this one comes to you with love. :confused_smile::girl_hug: Side bar the rose by my name is how i keep my mother close to me her name was Rose. Go for it Mandi, if i were younger and looking for a job that is what i would go for, i think it is a fantastic job. :biggrin: Mandi a few lbs fluctuation is okay when you are already at goal, if you go up too much i would change the ticker, but if it is hindering you at all remove it. Sometimes we think and worry about things too much and that is what gets us into trouble. Good luck with your career change. Maria :eek:

Hello Doriana Nice to hear from you again, sorry you are not doing so well with your weight loss, i can identifiy with your feelings over not losing, i have been almost a year now at the same weight, because of medical reasons, i hope to start losing again soon my doctor gave me the okay to have a fill adjustment although i didnt get enough in it. I would call your clinic and speak to them about your weight, it sounds like you need an adjustment in you band and they will advise you on how much you should start with to get back on track. Good luck Doriana and let us know how you make out. And Doriana you are not a failure please do not think of yourself in that way, you have just had a set back and now you are taking steps to correct it. Maria :biggrin:

Hi Mandi, the baby is doing great he is already at 10 lbs 6.ozs, all he does is eat sleep and poop.:wink2: I just had a small fill .50 cc's but it is not enough i am going to have to go back for another fill at least another .50 i think.:rolleyes2: I agree with Donna D too bad you are not coming to Toronto. Hi Mandy. Would your boss lay you off instead of you just quitting that way you could collect unemployment, there is nothing worse in having to go to a job that you are not happy in, i know i have been there. Hope your little kitty's are going to be okay, fingers & toes crossed. :hug: I had a good report from the hospital on Wednesday, there was some improvement in the cancer, they did tell me no cure that they could only treat me, so this treatment i am on is working, which the Dr. and myself were quite excited about. Dr.Luk give me the okay to lose some more weight only a little she said, because things are moving in the right direction, she wants me to take it easy. So i called the clinic today to go in for a small fill, i need it badly, i haven't gained any weight i just have not been able to lose any. Well my daughter just called me, she is having a baby :preggers: and she over due so the Dr. is sending her to the hospital they are going to induce her. So i am going to have a new grand son soon. This will be our last grand child i was hoping for a girl but it was not meant to be. My daughter Michelle has three boys, and this will be Karen's second. I can hardly wait for it to get here, i am so excited. Maria :cool:
