G'day, turns out i can start puree food now. The dietitian calls today day 9 (day of surgery day1) and as everything has been going straight through me she said starting puree might help that. So i had some oatmeal for brekky and after about four teaspoons i am feeling full and wondering when it will go through the band. Hope it dosen't make band slip. (yes i know i am very paranoid about that happening) I can also have puree fruit and even meat and veg blended to a thick soup consistancy.
Let me know how ur first thicker foods go.

P.s today is the first day i have felt i have really turned a corner with the pain although i still feel it, it's not as bad... YAY
