Oh yeah the pschiatrist put me on 50mg zoloft years ago then I stopped going to him and my pcp continued my prescription and said only if I had problems I should see him again so thats what I did and now my case it back open.

Well went to the docs and he wouldn't put me on lexapro. He said he presribes it alot but its not for me. He also said it slows down your metabolism and with my eating disorder well thats not that great for me. So anyhow he put me on prozac 20mg to start. He said zoloft 50mg was doing nothin but I refused to take anymore of it and so i would take was 50mg. He told me I need to surrendar and face the fact I can not be in comtrol to giv eit up. He was a bit harsh but with the events that happened to me over the weekend I don't deserve anyone to be too nice. So lets see if this works hopefully I will notice it soon.

Thanks, I have been looking around the site it seems that eveyone has different reactions and I don't think there is any way to tell how I react axcept to try it out. It just s*cks well you feel like sh*it to try something and have it make you feel worse or no better. Not only this but I have this eating disorder as well so I was gonna try to aee if any depression medication can help with the eating problem then I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. If that makes any sense.

Wow All this zombie feelings are ma king me nervous to try the medicine butI no its different for everyone. I was fine with zoloft for as long as I have been taking it but now I don'tno whats going on. I have a Dr. app. tommorrow, I just hate exsperimenting with meds when you don't feel well.

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried lexapro and how the side effects were . I am currently taking zoloft 50mg for depression and i have been on it for years. I have been going threw a low period for a couple weeks now so was thinking its probaly time for a adjustment (not lap band!!) Anyhow I no 2 people on this and like it alot. Just wanted to get some more opinions, please share..........................

Hi Nikki, I went to the meetiing tonite, it went well. There waslike 15-20 people there. Susanna the dietrician was running it. I think I am also going to go to the meetings at Dr.Gritsus's office on Mondays at 7:30. They are supose to be very supportive. Well keep in touch!! Cheryl

i was looking foward to meeting you so hopefully we will meet at the next meeting if you go. I have 3 kids one is 14 going into hs and i have a 10 and 6 year old as well. Just had hs orientation, it was neat. Thats a great idea to start that thread. Dr.Gritsus also has meetings every Monday nite at 730 at his office with a councelor. I have yet to attend one but I really need to get my butt in gear and go. Let me no when your going so I can look for you. I go for a adjustment on Tuesday think I need to be a little tighter. Gained a few pounds lately and I am not happy about that. Good luck at you first fill what a dofference after that.

No I don't think you have to sign up. The nutritionist told be about the meeting I think they hold them at the collins once a month. It Thursday at 5:30.

Hello Nikki, Well I am suppose to attend my first meeting at the collins this week. Are you going?? I am also meeting with Susana on Friday, need to get a handle on my eating habbits. I would love to keep in touch as well, its nice to meet someone in the same area and the same surgeon.

Hi Nikki, I am just wondering, were you in Chilton ER with a family member recently?? Just curious cause I met someone who was with family and told me she had just had the lap band and I told her that I had it done as well. That would be too funny if its you. Anyhow in case its not, I have lost about 50lbs since surgery. Going ok I had my pouch dilated cause I was eating too much and vomiting alot. So they let all the saline out and i took a rest till the pouch shrunk back to size now we are slowly making are way back with fills. But I am very happy with the results. Hi Nikki, I was banded by Dr.Gritsus as well. In May of 2006. Also at Chilton Hospital. I also work there. I no very well where West milford is. I am in pompton lakes, and obviously work in pompton plains. Nice to meet you!!!

Well I had pouch dilation. My band was ok but i created a little stomach for myself ubove the band. So they let out all the saline and then 2 weeks from then i got 3/4 of a cc filled. Now I went for another adjustment and was told i am tight enough although i have no restriction at all. Its very scarey i can eat and eat and eat and i hate that feeling. I was down to 156 now i am up to 170 and i am worried cause its so easy for me to gain. may 22nd-215 Today-170

I feel the same exact way, Now that I have ben at my weight for a while i feel fat again also. It stinks!! I need a fill but my doctor don't think so, oh well what can u do.
