I am in SA too. I had my surgery done by Dr Bessell at the Adelaide Obesity Surgery - Dr. Justin Bessell - Adelaide Obesity Surgery, Weight Management, Effective Weight-Loss Surgery, Australia The team there are great, and I was in the Calvery Wakefield for 2 nights. I have lost 12.5kg from February 2009, although my loss isn't fast, it is right for me! Suzie -

Location etc. I am in the Hills and I know of others in different areas surrounding Adelaide so finding a spot to suit would be good... Look forward to hearing from you SA Bandsters!

Sounds like fun! I will have to get my daughter looked after, as my Hubby will be away for work. I am sure if we asked at Dr Bessell's office we could get more people involved, maybe Dr Helen and Dr Bessell themselves?? LOL! -

Dr. Justin Bessell Patients...Question for you!!!
suzie76 replied to CallieOzgirl's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Don't rush things! it is important to let things heal. I know it is hard, but worth it in the end... Try mashed potato, and vitamised baked beans and a bit of melted cheese! -
Hi all, I have a numb sensation under the large incision? Is this normal? Not really worried, might have just been disturbed by the surgery which was on the 25/2 so over 2 weeks ago. Any comments on this would be good...

Prove the bugger wrong!! :frown:

I think they do it to scare you! Had a similar experience but with exercise, had sprained my ankle quite badly and the doctor told me that was a fat person's excuse for not exercising. He apologized at our next appointment. I felt like crap after too, but was determined to prove him wrong!

Now tell me I am not that silly, the AOS newsletter says that the free seminars are on 2nd Tuesday every Month, but the dates are all for Wednesdays???
