Still waiting for the 'sweet spot'. have 4mL in a AP small band, and going in for another fill in a week and a half (BTW 1mL = 1cc) weight is not budging... I will have to try and be patient!

    Adelaide Bandsters???

Another fill, another mill!! so that makes 4mL in total now, another fill in 2 weeks. I can feel the difference in just 1mL! hopefully things will start moving again, as it has been at a standstill for 2 weeks! (but we did have Easter and a holiday!)

    Adelaide Bandsters???

Hi Guys, I was also banded by Dr Bessell on the 25th February. I live in the Hills. Will be going in for 2nd fill on the 22nd and can't wait as I am not loosing... Suzie
  14. Had my first fill today, when the doctor drew back to see how much was in the band from the surgery, there was nothing! No wonder everything goes down! So I now have 3ml in a small AP band, back in 2 weeks for some more. I managed to eat fine tonight and drinking is not a problem...
  15. it is so hard to remember that this is a slow process, I am very impatient too! I wanted to be skinny years ago! but feeling better every day... I need patience...
  16. looking forward to my first fill on Tuesday, I need it...
  17. Well after getting more fibre in my diet! The weight is slowly going down again. I am also only trying to have 4 small meals a day now instead of 6 as you do on liquid. Waiting now for the 7th April for my 1st fill and the 24th February to eat ''normal'' foods again!

Thanks for the reply and reasurance!
  19. Having the same problem! I can see why it is called hell waiting for a fill...
  20. I actually have been perscribed the pill for facial hair, one called Yasmin which has an anti androgen (anti testosterone) in it and it works well, I skip the breaks because I don't have to have a break as I don't ovulate. It helps!
  21. Hi! I have still been having some trouble with my left shoulder and pain, but it eases. Going on to slightly thicker foods as I am getting a bit hungrier and it is nice to be able to enjoy the same foods as my family even if they are slightly blended!

  22. Hi, I too was banded by Dr Bessell on the 25th February! so far so good! can't wait for real food though!

  23. Hi all!! I started my new 'banded' life on the 25th February and would love to talk to other who have done so too!! Suzie
