I was banded 3.27.09 and i am planning on going back to work this Wednesday but i may be having second thoughts. When did you go back to work or when do you plan on going back to work?

I am going to try to go back tomorrow for half days and return next week full time. I too have a desk job but i am a manager of 14 employees so i am always going....i figure 4 1/2 hour days should be good. -
My stomach has been growling really bad all day today but i am not hungry. Is this normal? How long will this last?

I was bended yesterday. Today very sore and some gas but i am trying to be as active as possible. I have several different directions about what to eat but nothing says how much of what i should eat. What and how much did you eat the first two weeks after?

I am scheduled for lap band on 3.29.09 by Dr Manuel Castro through TLC Edge in Plano, Texas. I have been on liquid diet since 3.13.09 and have already lost 10 pounds, only 172 more to go! I actually love optifast! I got chocolate and i feel like i get to drink chocolate milk all day! I just wanted to share! I am too excited!

My lap band is scheduled for 3/27/2009 with Dr Castro! I am soooooo excited! I started my pre-op diet today and I have diarhea really bad but i am sure it will work its self out. Plus, i realized my surgery date is my 9 year anniversary from my divorce from ex husband, what a wonderful sign!!!! :scared2:

I too love TLC and everyone there! I also bought Cynthias book and LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! I chose Dr. Castro and my surgery is scheduled for March 27th! I start my preop diet tomorrow, only two weeks to go! :thumbup:

I have been taking lyrica for almost a week now for meralgia paresthetica and so far i havent noticed any difference in my eating habits but i also havent noticed any help with the pain either. What other medicine do you use instead of lyrica?

The only thing that concerns me about dr castro is where his office is located. The only thing that concerns me about tlc is the optifast, do they require you to buy it? -

What is the preop diet for tlc edge and what are the preop medical tests needed and do they provide any of this, if yes how much, if no where can i do it?
