I am the same way. I have had just as many unfills and I have had fills. My doctor said i am one of the small percentages that is very sensitive and i have to be careful. It is hard, it has been 9 1/2 months since my surgery but i am happy with the results so far. -

When did you start to really lose weight? Sure most of us lost some with the pre-surgery diet and some of us have lost some the first few weeks after but when did you "really" start to lose weight? -
I bought one just in case. I have noticed it has come in handy eating out, get discounts, and i have my dr names and number on mine and i have needed his number a few times.....they arent too expensive....

? For those not telling ppl being banded
koinoi replied to carbgrl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wasnt going to tell anyone either but i told one person and the next thing i knew the whole office knows. It has been a very positive thing for me and since i started on my journey two other ladies who work in our company have decided to be banded too. (Although our insurance doesnt cover it we are self pay) All of my co-workers have been great about it! Even people i dont normally talk with have emailed me and asked about me and are great about it. I know not everyone will be as lucky as i am, but good luck with you journey either way. I agree with just saying you are on a liquid diet. -
I was banded 9 days ago and still very tired! I tried going back to work after 5 days and ran myself down, now i am off work until Thursday of this coming week. I notice i need a small nap during the day. I was the same way when i had my gall bladder removed. All surgeries take a lot from your body. And your body is going through a lot of changes not to mention the amount of calories we intake now has dropped big time so less fuel. It will get better!
