R you making sure that you are measuring out your portions? You can stretch the pouch out if you are not careful. And if you are eating things like soup or ice cream you will be able to eat just as much as before because the liquid will go straight through. Also try eating with a baby spoon it takes you longer to eat so you fill up faster. Hope this helps! -
I go to a support group located where I had my surgery. They tell you to buy a set of baby spoons and forks!! They make you take much smaller bites so it takes you longer to eat your portions! It is also very important to weigh your food out and put the rest away! For instance my doctor says not to eat more than 4 ounces a meal focussing on protein and try to stay at 900 cal. I have lost 66 pounds so far! It has been a slow constant weight lose for me so far. And if possible see if your area has a support groups and go to some of the meetings!!

I had my surgery a year ago but Dr Hollis!! He was great even though I only met him the day of surgery and my first visit afterwards. You can request to see him for your fills but your appts will be harder to make. I also had to go through the six month of counseling. I can say now that I truely do appreciate having to go through that as it has tremendoulsy helped me out for the aftermath of the surgery. Didnt like the idea of having to wait but if you are seeing Kristen at True Results listen to her she knows her stuff! All of the personal there have been GREAT!!Good Luck!
