Glad you gave legs a try!! Good luck with the personal trainer!!
-
That looks much better. However I still dont agree on you not doing legs.

Your muscles need 2-3 days rest. Concentrate on one muscle group one day and then another the next. Just rotate it. You wont do any good by working the same muscles every time. They can not grow if you do not give them time to heal. And yes it very well could be because of starting the exercise. Dont give up and give your body time to get use to the change and you will start seeing bigger results. But dont forget to 'shock' your body every couple of weeks. Your body gets use to routine and needs that.

Did you do the same weight lifting two days in a row? I mean same lifts and working the same muscles?

People Really Have No Idea About Wls Do They?
TracyW2 replied to elcee's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
And this is why I dont like telling people about my band. They automatically think I lost all of my weight because of the band. I was able to just sit on the couch while my band forced the fat off me. -
Those Last 15 Lbs Are The Hardest To Lose.... (Wondering If I Should Try Lo Carbing It)
TracyW2 replied to marfar7's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You talk about food, but what about exercise? What is your current amount of exercise you are getting? -
It really is so good! I put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes and let it get a nice frosty chill. I could drink them all day long!

So Is Everyone Happy With Progress?
TracyW2 replied to Joy1961's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am thrilled with my results, but I have also put the work needed into it. I work out regularly and watch what I eat. I dont let one slip up ruin the rest of my day/week. I also know that I am human and I'm going to allow myself a bowl of ice cream if thats what I want. If I'm out with friends, I am going to have a glass or two of alcohol. -
I get mine from GNC. The brand is Optimum Nutrition. I think they taste really good. My favorite is Mint Chocolate.

How Long Does Hair Loss Last!?
TracyW2 replied to maegan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine started around 3 months post op and lasted until about 6 months post op. I was told by my nurse that Biotin can take up to a year before you really notice results. I have been on it for at least a year now. I just had a tummy tuck a month ago, so I dont know if has helped or not yet. -
I have become very aware of what I eat and what others eat now. It never occured to me before how unhealthy I was eating. And you are right, it is damn hard to get a lot of good healthy calories in. I do my best to eat clean, but dang its hard to get the calories, protein and enough water in during the day. I choose to keep my band tight so that makes it even harder. I am just now sitting down at 9pm for a meal and it is raw veggies. I have already had several protein shakes today. But this is the way I want my band although I am scared of malnutrition but I do have a series of vitamins and supplements I take during the day. All that I do is for my goal of muscle building. I am hoping to one day in the next year or two be able to take the stage as a figure competitor.

Anything with chicken. How about cottage cheese. I have found if I put some crystal light in with it, it tastes really good. Veggies, raw or cookied. Every now and again I will have a smart ones, but try not to too much because of the high sodium. String cheese, eggs are a couple more good ones.

Good job for hitting the gym. Please please PLEASE..do not neglect your legs. As a gym rat and huge weight lifting fan, there is nothing worse to me than men who have chicken legs. Your legs are the biggest muscle on your body, therefore are going to burn the most calories at rest. Make sure you are not doing all body parts each time. Split it up. I do back and biceps one day, then shoulders a different day, chest and triceps, and legs for another. So I am only working one muscle group a week.. You must give your muscles time to rest. Also, you are better off lifting BEFORE cardio. Another suggestion....do more sets. You should be doing at least 3 sets. Only rest 30-60 seconds between sets.

I dont know what to tell you because I have the same issue. My mil was flat out rude about it. Telling me how I was too thin and the way she seen me 4 months ago was just perfect. I just tell them I work my butt off to lose the weight and I'm healthy. I mean seriously, they werent coming up to me telling me I was too fat.

Weight Gain During Pregnancy With Lap Band
TracyW2 replied to Lady Lap Band's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I got pregnant 4 months after getting my band. I had lost 80 pounds at that point and ended up gaining 30 pounds. I had 1/2 my fluid removed at 15 weeks due to not being able to get anything in. -
Those In The Green Zone... Do You Eat Breakfast?
TracyW2 replied to sylviau's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have a shake for breakfast. Usually not until at least lunch before I can eat something. -
Go out and have some drinks....I know I enjoy them every now and again! I love my margaritas and dont feel bad when I have a few of them! I also still drink beer, but sometimes I do have trouble with it going down.

Never...ever Thought I'd Do It :)
TracyW2 replied to Patriceaa's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
wow, you look amazing!! Congrats! -
Thought I would post some progress pics of my tummy tuck. I am loving it and so happy that I did it! Completely worth the pain and money! The garmet has to stay on for another week and a half. Right now it feels so much better to have it on that I'm not sure I can completely go without it once 6 weeks hits.

Thank you. I am very happy with the results! I am in Illinois

It was around 6K.
