Hello everyone just wanted to check in I had my third fill yesterday, I am down 32lbs, and looking forward to "onderland". Dr. T said I should really feel this "fill" work some wonders and its only been a little over 12 hours and I must that I feel a big difference from the last two fills so hope I can get to "onderland" with this fill. Surgery was 6/5/09. Can anyone tell me how to get one of those little weight tracker things at the bottom of my post that shows my progress ??

Yes I had the wonderful Dr. T. I love him to death. I have the new Realize C band which is an 11 cc band. My first fill was 6cc and then the second was an additional 3cc so I don't what the next one will hold for me because I still need room to lose. Lol I was 243lb when I started now I am 211lb, but I feel like I have done most of it on my own with motivation from the band though, since I have not really felt any restriction yet.

The first fill I had no restriction and the second one I had a little for about a week and half, then nothing so I am going on Sept. 10th which will be 4 weeks from the last fill because I have no more restriction and I am starting to get hungry between meals. I have 9cc in an 11cc band so I am afraid I might not ever get to my "sweet spot" before I max out on CC's. Lol

Hey everyone this thread has been dead so I joined up with June 09 Jounery's. I was banded 6/05/09 and so far I have lost 31 lbs. I have had 2 fills going for my second one on 9/10/09. I am working full-time and going to LPN school 5 nights a week. I get up at 6 AM to be on the treadmill by 6:15 am to get in 30-40 mins. of walking during the week and hopefully if I have time I can get in 45 mins. on Sunday (which has not happened since school started). I say all this because with such a busy schedule I still have found time for the first time to walk daily, I watch what I eat, and I am seeing results and if it took getting this band to motivated and help HELL !! I wish I had done this 10 years ago. Nevertheless I am doing good and I feel great with clothes falling off me and everything. So please lets get this thread re-started because I need all the motivation I can get.

Thank you so much for the information I think I do have that sometime so I gues I do have a little restriction with this second fill I am getting another in a few weeks so I should really feel something then. I am not sure how big my realize band is but my first fill was 6cc and my second was 3cc so I have a total of 9cc so maybe my band is an 11cc band.

You are so right we must NEVER take for granted any small accomplishments we make during this journey. Every small step leads to a big step. Thanks for being so encouraging.

Can you PLEASE !!! tell me what restriction feels like so I can an idea of what it might feel like ???

Have you had your third fill ? If so how are things going with that.

Don't say only 25lbs.!! That is great I am at 29lbs. I was banded on 6/5/09 I have 2 fills. The first fill I had no restriction at all with this second fill I really dont feel any difference either. I am going back for my third fill Sept. 10th so hopefully I can start to feel some restriction. But you are doing great so please don't say "ONLY" when it comes to pounds lost because every pound counts.

Congrats on being in underland !!! I am so happy for you and it gives me motivation something I have been lacking for the past few weeks. Congrats, Congrats and I am so happy for you. What was your weight on your surgery day I am curious because I had my surgery on 6/05/09 ???

Today I am so hungry!!! I think because I am so tired for some reason. I feel like a complete loser the scale has not moved is a week or more and I am weighing myself twice a day like a nut case. I am putting that scale away so I can't get to it and the scale at the job is off so I know I won't get on that one. I just need to take a step back and relax. I am going on vacation next week and I hope I don't have to deal with the issue of being hungry since I am going to be at Disney World with some of the best food around. I feel like such a failure and I don't know why it seems that eveyone is going through the same thing unfortnately. I wish we didn't have to deal with this still even after the band. I get my second fill Aug. 20th so hopefully I will have more restriction with that fill. Good luck guys and hang in there DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT !!!!!

I had my 1st fill 7/9/09 and it seems that I have not lost any weight since I thought I was doing something wrong. After reading some post I realize I am not the only one struggling with this thing. I am walking 4-5 days a week, getting in my protein, and fluids. I will keep my head up and unlike in the past I will NOT!! let this send back down the road that got me here in the first place.

I had surgery on June 5th and was wondering if having lost 17lbs is about average??

Hello everyone things are going good. I was baned on 6/5/09 and I am down 12lbs so far. I have trying to walk everyday and getting down that protein. I go back to work on Thursday after my follow up on Wed. I am ready to get back into the real world. When Dr. T puts me on soft/mushies what types of food should I be eating??

I am 8 days post-op and trying to get in all my protein but seems I am not meeting my goal. Any advice or suggestions?? I am not hungry and have to force down the protein shakes.

Wow thats a lot of preparation. I didn't think we would be that bad off after the procedure. I will clean the house and shop for food, I have a high bed too so I will sleep in the guest room but beyond that I think I will be fine.

I like the name "June Journeys" too!!! Because we are truely going to be on a journey and I hope we can all do it together.

Hello June 2009 bandsters I just got approved on May 21st and I am scheduled for June 4th with Dr. Terracina in Newports News, Va. I went through 3 months of hoops and drama and I finally have a surgery date. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I work and go to school so I really am not able to make the support meetings but thank God for sites like this that offer support and advice. Well we will be on this journey together so I wish you all the best of luck and please wish me the same.

Hello everyone I hope all is well in the bandster world. I just wanted to up date everyone. I got my approval and I am scheduled to be banded on June 4th by Dr. Terracina I am so excited after all the drama I thought this day would not come and now it is almost here and I am a little nervous. Well I hope to have an update soon if anyone can offer me some advice at this point I would really appreciate it.

Did anyone have any problems with Dr. Terracina's office getting the paperwork to Tricare??

Does anyone know how long it takes for Tricare approval????
