  1. I would like to get my boobs lifted, will look at the options next year. I have a saggy lower tummy too mostly from carrying twins to 37 weeks. I would like that gone. Ideally I would like a lower face lift and a bit of work round the eyes and I may get some botox for a persistent frown line. Wonder if I can get a wholesale deal??? Jane x
  2. Hehehe I bought a light blue summer skirt suit by Bay for ?4.99 yesterday in a charity shop. I don't think it has ever been worn and it looks tres chic for work. I buy virtually all my clothes from charity shops or eBay these days. I find it fun and you certainly get really good quality designer gear for a snip. Tonight I am going to a Sex in the City party wearing a Monsoon dress that I bought for ?20 off eBay, I am planning to go as Samantha (without the sex though) and I bought a cinch waist sequined belt and some big blinging jewellery to tart it up with. To top it all I will be sporting a bleached blonde wig and a burka!!!! The burka will only be for the entrance behind my husband the Sheikh. Should be a blast :001_smile: Life is so much more fun now. Jane x

Good luck Jane, let us know how you get on. The whole plane thing sounds nightmare but at least you know that the next time you fly it will be just the one seat you will need. Jane x

    1 Year today.

Angela, you look wonderful. VSG really is the best for allowing us to become what we should be. Hugs to you. Jane x
  5. Judy is giving good advice. Treat yourself as, in the words of a some famous cosmetic brand, "Because you're worth it"!!! Jane x
  6. It will pass, you are going through a lot of physical changes and also you will still have residual general anaesthetic in your system. It made me feel very low after the op from time to time. Just be kind to yourself and if you are tired, sleep if you can. Then get up and have a nice walk. It will all get better over time. Jane x
  7. Brad, thanks for that postm really interesting, and I agree wholeheartedly with the Lombardi quote. Jane x

Hi Globie, he was quite shocked but then wanted to know more. He is a big lad himself so maybe one day he might do the same. Its the job, sitting in front of a computer all day trying to get code to work, its so easy to pile on weight. All the people I worked with at my last long term contract knew what I had done too, and were all really supportive. Jane x

Today at trhe doctors I was told I was underweight!!!!!! How fantastic is that. I am not really underweight, they just have an odd definition of ideal weight. Made my day!
  10. Hi Ainsley, No I haven't had anything like that really. I did nearly faint today because I had not eaten enough though. I would definitely see your doctor about it. Good luck Jane x

I had a new client say to me while we were discussing getting lunch, "You are one of those naturally skinny people"!!! I had to tell him the truth at that point. I don't normally talk about personal things like that at work, but I just had to.
  12. Congratulations Ange, that is fantastic news. Jane x

Put some weights in your pockets when they weigh you! Jane x
  14. Good luck Skye, we will shift up on the Losers Bench for you. Jane x
  15. I think if your parents are nice ones that would be a good option. I have fled back to Ma & Pa in the past, sadly neither of them are around anymore. As a parent I think thats what we are there for, to look after our kids, they probably would be chuffed that you trusted them so much. good luck and I didn't mean to be brutal but what you said showed he is not committed to you, more fool him IMHO. One day you will look back on this and be glad you moved on. Jane x
  16. Very wise advice :thumbup1:
  17. I am very happy with a 40 sleeve. Its a liveable size for me. Jane x
  18. Hi Luck, Thanks for posting. I am 14 months out now and am accused of being a naturally skinny person these days LOL. I am so glad you are doing OK, for you and selfishly for me going forward. Jane x

    racing heartbeat

Get it checked please but its probably not anything bad, I had all sorts of strange feelings and experiences in the early days. Still do get checked. Jane x
  20. I have not read what anyone else has said at this point because I wanted to give you my unbiased reaction. Your bf is not a great guy IMHO. He has zero understanding of you and zero wanting to understand you. Break up with him and sort your own life out. He will not help you. If he was a true life partner he would have shared and understood your dilemma by now. He is not a partner, he is not there for you. I will be interested now to see what the others say. We will support you so hold fast. Jane x

  22. Hi Beautiful Day, Glad I could help. There are lots of nice helpful people on this forum and they have helped me through my journey, so it's nice to be able to do the same for others. Do let me know how you get on please.

All the very best Jane xx

  23. Personally I wouldn't if I could get someone else to do it. It is possible but not optimum. Jane x

    Help!!

Try mild chilli made with turkey mince. Just eat the mix and chew well, no need for rice or chips or tortillas etc. You will get a tasty meal, feel full after a small amount, and stop being bored with your diet. Jane x
